lol, you're talking about the delays. Have you even read the article? China has bought a Soviet era carriers, in the 1990s and took 21 years to get it sea worthy?

it arrived in china in 2002, real work on it only started years later. there where no delays after work began in earnest. India on the other hand...well we all know the history of Indian projects and acquisitions.

That's even better. You bought it in 1991, Ukraine gave it to you in 2002, and it took 10 years to make it seaworthy. If Indian procurement system is ineffective, yours must be straight out of the dark ages. :enjoy:

^^^ lol just got in line before me.

Tiny pics but you can just about making out what looks like PLAN sailors lining up along the perimeter of the ship's flight deck.

If we follow that logic, then F-35 should be renamed to Made in US, UK, Italy, Norway, Danmark etc. What a long name. :woot:

Imagine the radio broadcast^^

the long name is your problem. The carrier is built for us,
辽宁 pronounced as "liao-ning" how beautiful and handy, get it ?

refititing works are just as difficult as if not more than building a new one, especially when you want to upgrade 20-year-old technologies to the 21st century! It was purchased bare-boned, without even an engine in it, and heavily rusting!

It is a "learning, researching constructing, testing and commissioning " combo! It is a landmark achievement in our PLAN history.

Afterall, we all have it made in Chinese shipyards! We are emerging from dark ages. You are still in the thick of it!
