China backed Rouge attacked Vietnam 1976 - 1979.:P
Islands is belong to Vietnam from long time.

the islands were Chinese from the start.

Rouge went out of control. They didn't threaten Vietnam's existence, so it's OK. When US attacked Vietnam, it threatened Vietnam's existence, same with France, so we help you kicked them out.

I have the feeling that we should open the border for just 3 days and accept as many vietnamese as possible, give all those cross the border Chinese citizenship.

This will allow the citizens of vietnam to see how the regime in hanoi systematically failed their nation for generations. I mean if you look, Saigon now looks like a dump site, Hanoi is always a dump site, the inflation is 20%, there is simply no reason to keep the regime of hanoi.

Compared to Vietnam yes, but that's not saying much.

It seems you are very proud with your Chinese paradise. There is reason why hundreds of thousands of Chinese workers into Vietnam only to do the simple job? :moil:

Vietnam to expel undocumented Chinese workers
Last updated: 8/19/2011 8:00

Chinese construction workers at the Ca Mau Gas – Power – Fertilizer project in the southernmost province of Ca Mau.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has pledged to deport undocumented Chinese workers from Vietnam after more than 1,000 illegal laborers were found at a construction project in the southernmost province of Ca Mau.
“Firstly, we will ask those satisfying the required criteria to register in accordance with Vietnamese laws,” said deputy minister Nguyen Thanh Hoa. “We will report others to the police who have the authority to expel them. It is necessary to be strict in deporting illegal foreign workers.”

On August 4, Ca Mau’s labor department inspected the construction site of the Ca Mau Gas – Power – Fertilizer project and found 1,056 unregistered Chinese workers.

This was 198 more than the findings of a previous inspection on July 2, when Ca Mau authorities found 858 undocumented Chinese workers at the site.

Unskilled Chinese workers flow into Vietnam
VietNamNet/TT4/26/2009

VietNamNet Bridge – Thousands of foreign labourers are working in Vietnam without work permits. Most of them are unskilled workers who work for foreign contractors, particularly Chinese.

Most Chinese working at the Nong Son thermo-power
plant in the central province of Quang Nam are unskilled labourers.
The number of Chinese workers dwarfs populations of local labourers at some projects, such as Tan Rai bauxite mine in Bao Loc, Lam Dong province in the Central Highlands, the Quang Ninh thermo-power plant in the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh, the Hai Phong Coal-fueled Power Plant in Hai Phong city, and the Ca Mau Gas – Power – Fertiliser project. At these places, there are from 700 to over 2,000 Chinese workers.

Foreign workers flooding construction sites

There are no official statistics about unskilled foreign workers in Vietnam, but it is estimated there are tens of thousands, and the number is seemingly on the rise.

The two big thermo-power plants that are about to be completed in the north, the Quang Ninh and Hai Phong, have over 2,000 foreign workers each, most of whom are Chinese.

In these construction sites, Chinese workers do various jobs, from cleaning up to digging, installing turbines and others. The Chinese contractors use nearly no Vietnamese workers.

Meanwhile, in the central region, Chinese workers who came to Vietnam with Chinese contractors began to appear several weeks ago in Nong Son, the central province of Quang Nam.

Because they work for Chinese companies and they don't want Vietnamese workers. Vietnamese workers don't speak Chinese and have poor work ethics. I guess the companies would rather spend more money than lose efficiency, they also go home when their contracts are done, nothing worth staying for. Question should be why can't you even do a simple job.

Vietnam taken it to official administration from long time of Nguyen Loards, without any troubles with China.
China is just claimed recently.
In Vietnam wars china played dirty policy against Vietnam, shaken hands with France to divide Vietnam 1954, with USA 1972 to keep unchanged in Vietnam...We overcame it with big lost for final victory 1975, with help of Soviet Union. Vietnamese don't forget them. Russians is fair nation.

Dealing with China any thing we have take care, China could change his face very quickly in critic circumstances.:coffee:

They are unskilled workers in China.
In Vietnam working for Chinese contractors is last choice.

Chinese contractors finished contracts in Vietnam, such guys turn back to rural area China's and become unemployed, no more.

Sometimes they leave with a special bonus...or they get new contracts. Vietnam is a growing country there are plenty of opportunities.

There are two problems:

First, they cheat to give unskilled Chinese workers into Vietnam, that is contrary to provisions of Vietnam's law.

Second, why don't they stay in paradise Chinese but to work in Vietnam?

They are technicians that are highly skilled, but because of Vietnamese corruption and bureaucratic red tape, they can't get permits, and must be brought in because most Vietnamese just don't have the ability to work to our standards.

Trust me, no one wants to immigrate to a country poorer than Africa. Even HCM City in Vietnam is poorer than our rural villages in Guangdong.

Global Times - Vietnam's complicated attitude toward repatriating Chinese workers

“Actually, the labor cost of Chinese workers is very high, as each of them earns a month salary over 5,000 yuan ($732), while we only need to pay Vietnamese 1,000 ($146) to 2,000 yuan per month,” Wang said. “Many may wonder why we don’t employ Vietnamese workers. It’s because they are not as diligent as Chinese workers and their work efficiency is low. Usually we need three to five Vietnamese workers to equal the efficiency of a single Chinese worker,” he explained.

wow, that should be sadness....maybe they also have to hand over sth in vietnam except for labour...like sperm.....

Chinese contractors could have projects in Vietnam based on funding of Development Bank China's. No China's funding, no Chinese workers in Vietnam. Projects completed, we send them back to China as soon as possible.
Vietnam's Gov have to stop accept funding from China be course contraction work is delayed and the quality of M&E equipments is very low.:smokin:

Are you using Google translate? Lol you go ahead, tell your government what to do. Stop them from signing contracts with China, I believe in you.

Yes, China is paradise:bunny: but I think regime in China will be collapse first.

BEIJING—A wave of violent unrest in urban areas of China over the past three weeks is testing the Communist Party's efforts to maintain control over an increasingly complex and fractious society, forcing it to repeatedly deploy its massive security forces to contain public anger over economic and political grievances.

The simultaneous challenge to social order in several cities from the industrial north to the export-oriented south represents a new threat for China's leaders in the politically sensitive run-up to a once-a-decade leadership change next year, even though for now the violence doesn't appear to be coordinated.

At least we don't have 20% of inflation in every year. :coffee:

Nothing for Vietnam, in Vietnam war inflation was up to 100 %.
Gov is just pushed hue amount of money to market to collecting US$ for upgrading our Navy. It's normal.:meeting:

According to Vietnamese, Chinese want to go from a richer country to a poorer country. Ok, sometimes that happens, even many Americans move to Mexico and Europeans move to Brazil and Africa.

Then they say that we are there because we want to make money... ok, understandable, many Europeans are millionaires in Africa when they were poor in Europe because there is more business. Africa is growing fast while Europe is standing still or even moving backwards.

Here's where it falls apart: Vietnam's currency is depreciating at 20% per year while China's is appreciating at 5% per year. Vietnam's economy is growing slower than China's economy, so there are less opportunities. Vietnam is a smaller market. In many ways, Vietnam is even worse than Africa.

There is absolutely no incentive to move to Vietnam permanently.
