This is far from the truth. You attacked first casue we suffered massive starvation due to the failiure of "Great Leap Forward", Nehru think it would be a very good chance to fish in trouble water. More importantly the relationship between China and Soviet Union deterioriate in 1960 , and the support from Soviet union made Nehru believe India could Defeat China easily.

This is a misunderstanding. It is true that Nehru was a complete fool. But he was quite friendly towards China, in the 1950's.

What was the forward policy. AFTER China refused to accept the McMahon Line, India began Forward Policy of setting up outposts behind the areas from where China had intruded to cut off supplies. But military spending was not increased and the idea was that enough posts would make the Chinese return without India having to fire upon Chinese troops. For the record, the Indians had vintage World War 2 rifles while the Chinese had Soviet machine guns. India was not looking for a fight - Nehru was an idealistic fool yes but he did not want war. He never did - the man was slightly insane.

I'm saying this because,both countries are growing and on their way to be a developed countries, why would be want to fight for some islamist ,under -developed,for countries who are on top 10 failed countries list and destroy out bright future???

If you have asked CHINA to play common and be a facilitator in improving our relationship with PAKISTAN, then most INDIANS, CHINESE AND PAKISTANIS will be interested in such a proposal.
But to my opinio, your above proposal has a bullying tone.
We will explore oil in South China sea and so can China explore oil in INDIAN ocean, the seas and oceans do not belong to any one and are in common economic interest to every nation who has the resource to explore them. Do not give false promise that we will not be in South China sea, if you cut of friendship with PAKISTAN. THAT IS CHEAP and ABSCURD.

I am just a civillian, what i say never count. I hope a peaceful and clear border with India. As a honest person, i won't agree any one to hurt Tibetan civillians, except for brutal insurgent. Tibetan has great culture deserving well-protection. As to pakistan, India is far more superior at military weapon and population, don't worry. India worry China will lauch attack one day, that's the reason why you buy so many advanced jets. A non-aggression pact should be singed for both benifits. and we should sit down negotiate the border line.

There were two things. First was Nehru's absurd "Forward Policy" which did not make an iota of sense. Second was the Chinese refusal to accept the McMahon Line which was the border between India and Tibet according to Shimla Accord of 1914.

Shimla Accord is the pact signed between the British Empire and Tibetan local goverment without the permission of KMT goverment. It is not legally binded. British man is the most discomposing and disgust human ever have on this planet. They seperated India and Pakistan which cause endless haterd, laid breeding ground of border dispute between China and India. Damn i want to kick their ******* ***.
