Talks are good , but what is the solution ?

India effectively wants status quo i.e China keeps Aksai Chin and India keeps Arunachal Pradesh .But China is not willing to let go of the Tawang tract in AP which India will not give up

Going by the recent track record - none of our talks with China have derailed. Both nations know its a long drawn out process anyways and we don't expect results immediately.

Nice move - this is the peaceful way forward.

Negotiation is better than tension or conflict.

We are not there yet to shout "chini Hindi bhai bhai". That phrase was the greatest blunder Nehru coined then, but we are lot wiser now.

There is alot of potential, just like there is alot of potential still between the US and China, but as long as these border disputes remain ''for the future'' (I have no doubt this means 'when we are in a better position to dictate terms' to the Chinese) there will be no chance for a lasting friendship

@topic: China is not a religion oriented country, its is the best thing about China i like.. Whereas India's caste system has nothing to do with world peace..

China should give back part of Kashmir and recognize Arunachal Pradesh as part of India.....and India will recognize Tibet as part of China.....
