Both China and India have proposed settling the current dispute along the present LAC, so the borders can be finalized in a relatively short time, but the main problem lies beyond the border dispute.

The main sticking issue is Tawang district, and that is tied directly to the Tibetan exiles. If the problem with the Tibetan exiles can be eventually resolved, then China probably won't have a problem with India holding Tawang district. After all, there are Hindu pilgrimage sites in Tibet, such as Mount Kailash, there's no reason why Tawang district being a pilgrimage site would be unacceptable.

Talks are good , but what is the solution ?

India effectively wants status quo i.e China keeps Aksai Chin and India keeps Arunachal Pradesh .But China is not willing to let go of the Tawang tract in AP which India will not give up

maybe let chinese tibetans in xizang and india tibetans in AP vote together.
let the tibetans referendum decide where tawang should belong to.
and I am sure we will win, we have far more tibetans on our side.
