Well, of course, we share a much closer genetic relationship with the Tibetans than other East Asian groups like Japanese/Koreans/Vietnamese.

Culturally, we have interaction for thousands of year, and we don't really want any Japanese/Korean/Vietnamese to be part of us, since you guys don't share a Proto-Sino-Tibetan ancestor with us, but the Tibetans do.

They can have as much of freedom as long no separatist action is involved, and most of them are ok with our policy.

How do you explain the Chinese government killing over 1/3 of Tibetans population, made Tibet as a testing ground for nuclear weapons and as a dumping ground for the millions of Chinese peasants who couldn't make a living in their own home territories. The agriculturally productive and populous parts of Tibet were ripped off outright and appended to Gansu, Sichuan, and Qinghai. The rest is what Tibet have today?

How do you define a part or not a part of China? Vietnam was a vassal state of China centuries before. Are you late in your tax payment to us and get out of the islands!
