What's new

China delivers 6 JF-17 Thunder fighters to Myanmar

These are not JF-17 thunders, they are FC-1 delivered by the Chinese. The training and everything else will be imparted by the Chinese.
What the difference between JF-17 and FC-1 ???

Does China operate FC-1/JF-17 :pleasantry: ???

How will they train them ??? :haha:

What the heck BD is doing???? Burma is arming her to the teeth, has got rid of the Rohingyas, and set eyes on BD lands and islands!!!!! And, BD AF is still stuck with an aerobatics team!!! Oh, they've a hell great # of statistics, based on the data supplied by foreign NGOs to perpetuate the anti-Muslim campaign inside BD and make them a permanent under-class!!!

That will be a huge leap forward for Myanmar along with Su30SME(If they opt to buy)
Considering the best fighter they have are the older Mig29 variants which are short range interceptors only.
The BVRAAM capability, Anti Ship Capability, Standoff Strike Capability on ground Targets. Its a honeymoon for their air force
But, a nightmare for BD!!!!! And, all the (verbal) bashings of the world against Pak won't be of any help to BD's Humpty Dumpty army!!!!! By the by, BD army's current pathetic situation in morals and materials is per design!!!! They used to have a formidable and courageous army too, and they used to regularly take on Burma!!!! But, it was led by the ex-Pak Ordu members fluent in Urdu/Pashtun/Baloch etc....

BD will never be allowed to go off the Indian radar - Gen Deepak Kapoor, former IA Chief

BD is the most successful RAW ops - B Raman, former RAW Deputy Chief in his book "KAOboys"

highly possible. Once Jane reported Myanmar to talk with PK for JF-17 block 3 assembling locally.

Myanmar reportedly in talks to license-produce JF-17
Myanmar is currently negotiating for the local licensed production of JF-17 Thunder lightweight multi-role fighters, IHS Jane’s reports.

In July 2015, Myanmar became the first third-party customer of the JF-17, which is co-produced by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group (CAIG), with an order of 16 JF-17 Block-II fighters. As of January 2017, PAC produced more than 30 JF-17 Block-IIs.

IHS Jane’s learned that Myanmar is interested in producing the JF-17 Block-III, which is envisaged to be equipped with an active electronically-scanned array (AESA) radar, helmet-mounted display and sight (HMD/S) system, and potentially infrared search and track (IRST) system.

Because India (and not even Nepal I guess) never boast that we are a Hindu Republic, simply because we are not. :disagree::disagree::disagree:

wow i will love to see jf-17 have assembly on Evey content

I hope burma doesnt crash them. Them fools destroy new weapin systems alot.
what kind of business man are you ? if they crash they will replace with two new
@Aung Zaya please test crash one and check man if ejection seat is working or not

Im not a business man im a Genral surgeon and a computer games content creator in my free time.

Reputation is a big thing in business i did learn that in china. If u make a good name and reputaton u can sell almost anything to anyone. But earning a good name us hard. If they crash em like they always do. It brings bad name to CAC and the Aircraft itself.

If they crash these 10 years from now that would be okay. Not right away. Usually these people dont maintain military assets so good and destroy em with in a few years.

Not long ago Indians used to claim the same about China, saying all their J-11's and other planes where just licence built and copied from Russia, but eventually they came to terms with China being able to build fighter jets, and it's only a matter of time before they(and everyone) do the same with Pakistan.

Dont worry. Indians lose billions of dollar to China in trade deficit every single year :omghaha:

Probably another question, is the JF-17M equipped to Block 2 standard and fitted with the KLJ-7V2 or does t use the V1 variant?
