Their oppressive Communist regime chucks out people of all religions..We see tons of Chinese Christians coming to UK for asylum on religious grounds.
I had a chat with a Chinese woman..She told me that they as Christians have to register with authorities if they want to attend their church,if they don't register and found attending the church they get arrested..According to her, they were too afraid to register as when you register you get stalked by their secret police..her husband was picked up while going to church and was in the jail.
They may argue they want to suppress Islam because Muslims have caused trouble in Xinjiang, but what the Christians have done?
You do not forget, religion is not so simple, usually it is always being used in politics.Simply put, in the old China, the church was a spy center, it serves as the Western colonial aggression. In the new era, its role is only to do some form of change, the West always use the church to achieve their own ends, and China hopes to establish an independent religious structure, which is the reason.Though not all, but some secret church is always linked to the capital of the West, they are always against the government, rightly or wrongly.Of course, as I said, not all, as far as I know, that some people just want to have separate beliefs (both the Government and the West), in a BBS, a member once said, like it, they refused, they refused to win over (anti-government) from some people. He believes that "God attributed to God, Caesar attributed to Caesar".I think the Chinese government would not object to some believers like him.
I do not know, the Pakistani friends you have any expectations for the Western Church (always in politics)?
China are an oppressive anti religion regime.
they succesfuly got rid if every other religion in their country except Islam.
if Mao couldn't get rid of Islam there are nit many chances that noo ching poo or whoever is on the throne now is any bigger communist than Mao Zheng tung.
Islam has survived their communism inspired barbarism and will continue to survive.
Sorry, even if you are a Pakistani, I will not accept an allegation like it.Yes, there are some restrictions on the religious, but I do not think it can be called "oppression".You need to look at the lives of Muslims in China today, and then tell me if it is an oppression, why Islam has a considerable development in China.I repeat China's religious policy, your religion is free, you have the freedom to believe, also do not believe in freedom. Religion is and must be a private issue.
