I know very well why India is doing it and anyway, they can do it because the defense treaty allows them to do so and yes, it is a totally acceptable practice because their treaty says so, otherwise what would be the point of having defense treaties that allow a country to deploy forces on the territory of the other? It happens all the time, US forces in S. Korea, in Japan, Nato, etc. What's illegal about that?

Their defense treaty has clearly specified that India would consult with Bhutan in security matter, but Bhutan has refused to acknowledge that India even consult with them on this matter. Please post Bhutan's statement that acknowledge or seek India's intervention if you think there is any. Int the contrary, here is what a famous Bhutanese think about this whole fiasco.

Bhutan is intentionally keeping a low profile in their statements in order to try to defuse the situation and to have further options.
