I agree...by taking India and Pakistan...a central asian organization has lost its character. Now the group is so large with each member having different geo political interest, that it is no more a group.

Pakistan does have a Place in SCO because Pakistan was Previously Founding member of another Central Asian Organization called CENTO and also because Pakistan is one important part of SILK ROUTE that China is Proposing to build for itself and Central Asian Countries so Pakistan can offer many things to SCO but it would be Difficult for India to make their Place inside because except for Russia Support their are no Avenues available to India in SCO while Pakistan not only has Chinese Support but also one of Major part of Silk Route Plan for Central Asia.
