I have accidentally touched liquid nitrogen before, it burns and doesn't feel cold at all.
My colleague plays with solid CO2 which is also cold and burns he says as long as you keep moving it around and not hold it in 1 position it is fine...

Well I have had liquid nitrogen droplets on my hand every now and then...we use it to chill the cells (of plant leaves) for extracting DNA it burns a but but droplets are not harmful unless it hits the eye...

We are rebellious.

I am a plant molecular geneticist/ biotechnologist....I also have training in cancer research (molecular aspects not really the clinical ones) and with BSc in ecology and did an internship in plant pathology (damn had to look after large trial fields and check them for fungi and all ....

hehehe... no one flushed it soo far...too expensive and valuable to do that :p:
