Catalonia has 'won right to statehood'

I would remind you that the Iraqis, Turks, and Iranians didn't interfere in the Kurdish referendum. We let them vote.
For Turkey and Iran it shouldn't even be any of their concern since it's not even in their country, reason it's make Les sense for them to intervene, even so they have been staging war games close to Kurdish borders to intimidate them and they have not ruled out sending soldiers into Kurdish region depending on the situation.
For Iraq(which at least is in their country) it's mainly due to the fact that the Iraqi government//state is not as powerful/united as during Saddam's era, the state is still fragile/weak reason the government hasn't YET sent in soldiers to fight the Kurds due to the referendum. If the Iraqi government was still as strong and powerful as during Saddam's era , then they would have violently crushed and killed those clamouring for independence/separation with Iraq like Saddam often did against the Kurds.

It's commonly known how Kurds who agitate for independence/separatism are treated in these countries. Not that I have anything against this, it's just that Spanish police/Spain as a developed country in the E.U shouldn't have used force to try to stop the referendum, it's not befitting for a developed European country . Granted nobody was killed or even sustain life threatening injuries, but even so it's unacceptable for a developed E.U country police force to use such violence.

Actually not being part of any block is the major reason why Switzerland became what it became.
That's because E.U. itself doesn't exist al that long, E.U. was forming while the Swiss had all the time to ake al the deals it needed. More importantly, Switzerland is an country that is a lot more self sufficient than Catalunya, Catalunya depends on tourism with Europe, something you need open borders for, getting a 'border deal' with E.U. takes time, something Spain could spoil further. Also how would Catalunya survive without trade agreenments with E.U.? Eventually they could have deals with other countries and even the E.U., but then it might be too late.
Catalunya isn't Switzerland or Turkey or Uk.

I was just talking regarding Swiss, otherwise Catalunya would surely have hard times, even Brexit wont be without headaches for UK.

Its not that simple.
