well the Iranians were trying to set up a Hezbollah-type cell in Parachinar, since Lebanese Hezbollah is extremely popular in the village of Alamsher and surrounding areas (even the flags and graffiti can be seen)

as for suicide bombers from Parachinar who are Shiia - i have no information and never heard about it so not in a position to comment.

I have a fascination and a soft corner for the Hazara community. Not sure why. May be because they are part Mongol and Turkic. They should be protected in both Pakistan and Afghanistan. They have been an unfortunate victim of both racial/ethnic and religious hatred.

it was nice to see pictures of many Sunnis in Balochistan also angrily protesting with the Hazaras; of course media (even our own shyt media) didnt report that.

the fact that 3 days mourning was announced in the entire Province means that there is solidarity with those who were killed......


and actually, it should give fuel to combat groups like BLA; because actually, many seperatist rebels are in bed with sectarian groups because they also aim to target Iran -- and they view Iran as a Shiia power. BLA and anti-shiia groups (which receive CIA and israel funding) like Jundollah have also sectarian agenda; they arent "Secular" the way they claim, that's nonsense and just a ruse.

Hazaras are now calling for the Army to effectively take operational control of Quetta and I'm sure day & night debates are going on in GHQ over what the hell to do. It's put army in a very strange position.

They are the most harmless, most friendly people. Excellent horse riders and huntsmen by the way. They ought to be reminded that the whole nation is outraged; and it isnt just Hazara who is target -- but all Pakistan. Attacking one group in Pakistan is attacking ALL of Pakistan. We are fighting an internal war against these enemy scum who are trying to create chaos and division.

the government hasnt done anything; mighty judiciary done nothing either -- and people expect the army to bring miracles over night; people also need to be pro-active and fight these hate groups

Regret to strongly disagree with this argument. Whatever happened in North Western Pakistan, or whatever Mongols did was very long time ago. You cannot go and tell people that you have no place here because you are remnants of the army of Mongols which invaded Afghanistan & Iran in the late 12th/early 13th century. Atrocities committed by them were 900 years ago!!!

If we were to take up your argument then BJP & Shiv Sena are justified in killing all those Muslims in India who came up with the Muslim conquerors and thus have no place there. Vishwa Hindu Parishad is justified in demolishing Babri Mosque and 120 other places of Muslim worship alleged to have been Hindu temples before the Muslim conquest. Similarly Turks have no place in Kurdistan. Ottomans Turks did not exist until Orhan 1 captured Bursa in 1326.

I didnt get why are Turks involved in your post? Sunni Pashtuns and Sunni Balouchs cannot get along with Shia Hazaras. Thats the problem, not the Turkish conquest of Bursa. Let them live in an environment where they would be safe and happy, thats my solution.
