I can quote posts from fellow members of this forum who believe that Taliban and their allies are being falsely accused. The same is true for political parties such as JI. Ran Sanaullah of the second largest political party (PML-N) makes no secret of his alliance with SSP (parent party of Lashkar Jhangvi) thus indirectly supporting sectarian killing.

When some children were shot dead in the US recently, Obama ordered lowering of national flag and felt no shame in shedding tears on TV in front of the whole nation. US may be the biggest Satan but still show compassion for their fellow nationals.

In Pakistan Hazaras had to bury 86 corpses in one day! Do we hear mass condemnation of Lashkar Jhagvi by the political leaders? I am not Hazara, none of my friends is Hazara and I don’t even have a friend married to a Hazara, but I feel extremely disturbed at the callous attitude of Pakistan in general to cold blooded killing of nearly a hundred fellow Pakistanis innocent of any crime except being a Shia.

However, in this thread I see posts where some says that Hazaras are Central Asian and have no place in Pakistan; someone else writes that conflict goes deep. Isn’t this an indirect way of condoning this horrible deed? Pakistan may be land of the pure and full of 5 times a day praying and fasting nation, but difficult to call most of these living creatures devoid of compassion as humans.

I am ashamed to admit that I belong to a country where human life has no value and shedding of blood in the name of religious differences is considered worth no more than lip service. If Islam is what the Lashkar Jhangvi activists and their sympathizers follow; I hereby declare myself to be a ‘kafir’. I would welcome going to hell if I have to share heaven with Lashkar Jhagvi butchers.
