Construction of four warships of Bangladesh Navy en ded with the aim of securing security, wealth and proper management of the sea-level. Nasan, the remote, the Halda and the cattle were built for the construction of ships worth 942.4 crores. Khulna Shipyard has built warships at international standard. The built warships have piloted the Bhairab and Rupsha rivers on experimental basis.
On Tuesday, the warships have left for the Bay of Bengal. This is part of the experimental movement. Captain M Nurul Islam Sharif, General Manager (Production) of Khulna Shipyard Limited said that the vast sea level of the natural resources rich in the Bay of Bengal contributed significantly to the economic development of the country. There is no alternative to the warship to carry out the responsibility of the Navy for the security of the sea area, for the acquisition of wealth and proper management. That's why 64.2 meter length, 9 meters width, two warships named BN Nishan and Durgam have been built. The construction of two ships is estimated to cost Tk 800 Crore. The price of 1000 Crore were needed to made to manufacture these ships overseas. It takes 24 months to build two ships. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the work on September 6, 2015.
Navy Chief Admiral Nizam Uddin Ahmed started the program on December 31, 2013 at BM Upadham's Lunch. China offers technical assistance to build two ships of war ships. Speed velocity 25 nautical miles for each of the war ships. BN Nishan warship will leave for the Bay of Bengal on Friday for a pilot movement.
According to the sources, construction of two world-class Tug Boats with the cost of Taka 142 crore has been completed. These ships will help in submarine movement. Every ship named Halda and Pushura is 32 meters long. Malaysia offers technical assistance in this. Both the war ships have the advantage of modern military capabilities and automatic weapons use against submarines.
According to the sources of the engineering department, Khulna Shipyard has built five warships namely Padma, Surma, Attandra, Admay and Aparajeya. In the year 2015-2016, the shipyard got 64 crores 62 lakhs and the last year got 79 crores of rupees. Shipyard has so far completed 725 shipbuilding and repairs to 2,224 ships. The dead shipyard was handed over to the Bangladesh Navy on 3 October 1999. Shipyard is set to be 60 years old on the banks of Rupsa river. মঙ্গলবার যুদ্ধ জাহাজ বিএন দুর্গম বঙ্গোপসাগরের উদ্দেশে রওনা হয়েছে। এটি পরীক্ষামূলক চলাচলের অংশ। খুলনা শিপইয়ার্ড লিমিটেডের জেনারেল ম্যানেজার (উৎপাদন) ক্যাপ্টেন এম নুরুল ইসলাম শরীফ জানান, প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদে ভরপুর বঙ্গোপসাগরের বিশাল সমুদ্র এলাকা দেশের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে উল্লেখযোগ্য অবদান রাখছে। সমুদ্র এলাকার নিরাপত্তা, সম্পদ আহরণ ও সুষ্ঠু ব্যবস্থাপনার লক্ষ্যে নৌবাহিনীর দায়িত্ব পালনের জন্য যুদ্ধ জাহাজের বিকল্প নেই। সে কারণে ৬৪ দশমিক ২ মিটার দৈর্ঘ্য, ৯ মিটার প্রস্থ করে বিএন নিশান ও দুর্গম নামে দু’টি যুদ্ধ জাহাজ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। জাহাজ দু’টি নির্মাণে আটশ’ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় হয়। এ মানের জাহাজ বিদেশে তৈরি করতে এক হাজার কোটি টাকা খরচ হতো। জাহাজ দু’টি নির্মাণে ২৪ মাস সময় লাগে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা ২০১৫ সালের ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর এর নির্মাণ কাজের উদ্বোধন করেন।
নৌবাহিনী প্রধান এডমিরাল নিজাম উদ্দিন আহমেদ গেল ৩১ ডিসেম্বর বিএম দুর্গমের লাঞ্চিং (পানিতে ভাসানো) প্রোগ্রামের সূচনা করেন। যুদ্ধ জাহাজ দু’টি নির্মাণে চীন কারিগরি সহায়তা দেয়। যুদ্ধ জাহাজ দু’টির প্রত্যেকটির ঘণ্টায় গতি বেগ ২৫ নটিক্যাল মাইল। বিএন নিশান নামক যুদ্ধ জাহাজটি পরীক্ষামূলক চলাচলের জন্য শুক্রবার বঙ্গোপসাগরের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা হবে।
সংশ্লিষ্ট সূত্র জানায়, একই সঙ্গে ১৪২ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে আন্তর্জাতিক মানসম্পন্ন দু’টি টাগ বোট নির্মাণ কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। এই জাহাজগুলো সাবমেরিন চলাচলে সহায়তা করবে। হালদা ও পশুর নামের প্রতিটি জাহাজের দৈর্ঘ্য ৩২ মিটার। মালয়েশিয়া এতে কারিগরি সহায়তা দেয়। যুদ্ধ জাহাজ দু’টিতে আধুনিক সামরিক সক্ষমতা এবং সাবমেরিনের বিরুদ্ধে স্বয়ংক্রিয় অস্ত্র ব্যবহারের সুবিধাও রয়েছে।
প্রকৌশলী বিভাগের সূত্র জানায়, এর আগে খুলনা শিপইয়ার্ড পদ্মা, সুরমা, অতন্দ্র, অদম্য ও অপরাজেয় নামে পাঁচটি যুদ্ধ জাহাজ নির্মাণ করে। ২০১৫-১৬ অর্থ বছরে শিপইয়ার্ড ৬৪ কোটি ৬২ লাখ এবং গেল অর্থ বছরের ৭৯ কোটি টাকা লাভ করে। শিপইয়ার্ড এ পর্যন্ত— ৭২৫টি জাহাজ নির্মাণ ও দুই হাজার ২২৪টি জাহাজের মেরামত কাজ সম্পন্ন করেছে। মৃতপ্রায় শিপইয়ার্ড ১৯৯৯ সালের ৩ অক্টোবর বাংলাদেশ নৌ বাহিনীর কাছে হস্তান্তর করা হয়। রূপসা নদীর তীরে লবণচরা মৌজায় স্থাপিত শিপইয়ার্ডের বয়স ৬০ বছর। পাকিস্তান জামানায় ১৯৫৭ সালে ৬৮ দশমিক ৫৭ একর জমির উপর এ জাহাজ নির্মাণ কারখানা স্থাপিত হয়। বাসস
