Broadband Speeds around the world (top 20)

2 mbps Unlimited for 14$/month:P :yahoo:

for 1800 rs .=40 $

Wow 200/200 is very impressive. The fastest we have is Verizon (through their fiber optic service) in the U.S. and that is 150/35 for 199$ (it is not offered nation wide though)

Verizon | Internet Plans, Choose the Ultimate Internet Plan | FiOS Internet

In some German cities prices are even better. You can get a 100 mbit cable connection for just 30 euro. Although it's not symmetric.

What is the scope of the 150/35 service? Is it widely available?

I was tempted to switch to Verizon after looking at those plans. But alas they do not offer service in my area.

This is what I get for $30

Paying $65 (without tax). Location is Canada.

the speeds depend on which base you are stationed at. for example the bases in Germany use Deutsche telecom and have extremely fast speeds. If you are in Afghanistan the internet kiosk for soldiers uses sattelite. the speeds can be very slow at times.
Well the base i spent time in had an excellent speed. Though they didnt allow 'futile' surfing there but once i had to download a some 600MB plus file and to my surprise the file was on my pc even before i was able to minimize the download window..!!!

Now i call that some SPEED!!!

lol, your on a university system arn't you...........

i had the same guess.

Any ideas over PTCL EVDO?

I'm on IPhone using WiFi.

10.78 Mbps/ 5.28 Mbps (DL / UL)

You're hilarious. Always looking at opportunities to take a cheap shot. :smokin:
