Dude i know what goes on here. but its much better then what goes on other sides. thats y i m saying the State has to take responsibility. These excuses have been used by each and every party and consequences have been dire.

Dude i live in the city and i know for a fact what goes on here. the rigging is a hard truth and is practiced mostly in areas where their is going to be a clear victory for certain candidate. in strongly contested areas this practice is negligible as both parties show their strength at polling stations. Specially in the recent elections with all the media covering. there are areas in Karachi where rigging is done in favour of PPP. Thats whay i m saying. All parties keep blaming each other of rigging and many other things. things would not go forward if the practice is curbed. and the only way is to get the responsible convicted and made an example. if the people were caught red handed and there are proves then whats stopping us from convicting such culprits. are we not able to even do that?

Ok let me rephrase . for the sake of argument . admitting mqm wins from bogus mandate, does the election process in rest of Pakistan is considered clean?

Spot on, I fully know the crimes of MQM but no one here discusses the crimes of ANP, PPP and now TTP being helped by someone in our intelligence agencies. Karachi is declining very fast. There is no way people of Karachi will accept Taliban style Sharia. Even many Urdu speaking people hate MQM but in the end they have no choice but to support MQM out of fear of Taliban, ANP and PPP mafia. The state is either too weak or is deliberately giving up Karachi to extremist Mullahs.

Its in MQM areas that business flourish and provide employment to people from all over Pakistan. supports Pakistans economy by contributing in Taxes and not hiding behind stupid exemptions. There is a thing named LAW in Pakistan and it should be implemented regardless of race color creed or religion. to civilians and armed forces.
and yes Armed Forces have been involved in land grabbing extortion and kidnappings. specially Rangers. search arshad pappu arrest and killing.
We Pakistani's have to take a stand on one principle now "Truth". and act accordingly if we really want a change. or else we can go on for ever.

Rangers have been extorting and killing those who failed to pay. Currently they are busy kidnapping low level MQM workers, they get one choice pay extortion money or die.
