Yes, India can attack Pakistan and the whole world will support her but there is little problem here. India herself is involved in supporting terror inside Pakistan. Unless India washes her hands from supporting terror in Pakistan, she will not be able to gather support for her adventure in Pakistan. Now India has not yet become the USA (nor in the foreseeable future) that she could attack a country (let alone Pakistan) at will without the support of other nations. This is no secret that both countries are meddling in each other's matters, and both are nuclear -armed. It has been said over and over again that Pakistan may not win a sustained war with India but is more than capable of giving a hugely bloody nose to India and that would be the last thing India would want, for this will not help India with her plans of economic growth etc.

Sanity should prevail and both countries should try to resolve issues through meaningful dialogue. If England and France could talk and settle their centuries old animosity, Pakistan and India could as well.

You are wrong. I am not prety sure but India moved to this covert response mode after Mumbai attack. Pakistan thought that its Nuclear weapon is a gaurantee against the outright attack by India. They totally miscalculated the indian response. India moved to an option of tit for tat in covert mode as this mode was the correct choice in nuclear environment.Earlier India used to think that a stable democratic pakistan is in favor of regional peace but later on realized that It policy is not generating any fruit and back firing. So india changed its mode of response. There has not been any major attack subsequent to that. so that we may reasonablly assume that new policy is working well. There is no reason to change this response mode untill Pakistan back track from its policy to use terror as the tool of state policy.

You seem to have forgotten the support you gave to Mukti Bahini in the 70's alone. I just wanted to open your eyes rather then to go into a debate.

If terrorism cannot be responsed with military action then terrorism will be responded with terrorism. Just like what most of the Pakistanis is claiming is happening in theor country. If nobody likes bloodshed then Pakistan will not be an accomplice to any terror attacks if at all [god forbid] it happens. Unfortunate as it may sound but when it comes to us or them it is always us for everybody.
