Black Magic and Islam

Does anyone know the best religious scholars or the most Islamic list of steps to take when you suspect a loved one's rapidly progressing illness is because of black magic? What are the list of steps you can take to do away with the black magic?

tell that person to just give sadqa as much and read Holly Quran and Namaz. ask Allah for forgiveness.

7 times Surah Falak and Naas. That is it. The Quran has it all. No need for lengthy and generally made up prescriptions.

Ruqyah, that's what it's called. You can google it but traditionally al fatihah( the most effective ruqyah), ayat al qursi, two last verse al baqarah, last three surahs in quran and selected verses of al araf and surah Yunus are used. Im not a scholar so I don't know the steps but you can find it on google. I would also call your local mosque if you haven't done so. Contact a larger mosque.

Honestly though, if you think your loved one is possessed you should take them to the psychiatrist. You might be able to find a muslim psychiatrist that will understand where you are coming from. Many times bipolar disorder, acute psychosis and severe depression can seem like a possession but it isn't. These ailments can be treated with medication and you can still do ruqyah. But not seeking proper treatment for a loved one can do unspeakable harm to their well being. Allah forbid, if they do something that is irreversible and during Acute psychosis or a mania people can resort to violence or self harm...

Don't go to sheikhs that give you amulets and charge crazy amount of money.

Inshallah, I hope you find your answer and are able to find treatment for your loved one.

There is another brother in Pakistan he is an intensivist and works in the ICU. He does interesting work with the Quran and treatment of chronic disease. I would listen to his experience and try it. Its Quran also but you have to listen to Surah al Rehman. I really hope you find the answer man and your loved one gets well soon inshallah.

Reciting sorah nas and falak and ayatul kursi will help.
Play soorah baqara in the room loudly if there is something magic or jinn the person will visibly become agitated and if thats the case go to an alim.. authentic alim.. taweez or pani mein ghol k peenay wali perchian will do nothing..

I am still confused why you brought up placebo and nocebo.

As for dark energy and Dark matter. Those are just place holder names for something we have not found yet.

Our theory predicts that there is a lot of matter out there and we don't know where it is.
Could the theory be wrong? sure, will scientists insist it's right even after there is evidence that it's wrong?

what are the symptoms which leads you to think its Black Magic? male/female and any idea why someone will do Black magic?
very basic questions. if do not want to answer then try, Darood e Ibrahimi ,Aayatul Qursi, char qul, manzil, char quls, Aayatul Qursi, Darood e Ibrahimi recite in front of the person, when finished blow on a glass of water and let him/her drink and blow on the person.
