Best Choices for new Egyptian ATGM

Hello ,
Egyptian ATGM are they ready for the challenges coming from Israeli Merkava?

As we know that our Egyptian Inventory of ATGM consist of

1-some Variants of Tow missiles , best of it is Tow-2A , we have several thousands of it , more than 19 to 20 thousand projectile
2-swing fire , licensed built from U.K
3-Milan 2 , about 2000 projectile
4-Sagr AT-3 , old soviet ATGM , we have developed it with help from Taiwan to change the guidance system to SACLOS
5-5000 projectile of the Ukranian R-2
6-Russian Konkours
7- Chinese Red arrow HJ-8

We also have Maverick on F-16s or Hoot on Gazelle Helicopters , but we will discuss ATGM launched from Ground not Air.

All mentioned ATGM above are kinda ineffective Against Israeli Merkava 3&4 , as the Maximum penetration ability for the best of ATGM above is Tow-2A which penetrate untill 900 Mm , Konkours is about 800Mm .. While the front bow to those tanks Merkava 3 and 4 capabilities far beyond those, experts say that front bow for M3 Equivalent of 1100 to 1350 mm from the RH against the hollow shells charge and it reaches to 1400 Mm for M4

We have tried to get the Tow-2B but of course U.S refused.

what are our options ?

HJ-12 would be best and easy choice it is equivalent to USA Anti Tank Missile Javelin

we as a country have a great history with ATGMs i think we should have the best i wish for HJ-12 for infantry

Kornets are the best bet. If Al-Sisi remains in power, you may very well get some Spikes if needed.

Kornet ATGM are not fire and forget. They are semi guided and no top down attack. Unlike HJ-12.

You need kinetic energy penetrators if you are going against a Merkava because Trophy system will stop all of these ATGMs you listed above.

If still insist on a ATGM, i would say RPG-30 (although not being an ATGM) has the best chance against Merkava.
