Bengali economic migrants in Pakistan

OK guys lets all take a step back and chill. We are all human beings first and foremost right? No need to disparage each other beyond reason.

Lets be rationale about everything. In my opinion we are talking about ILLEGAL immigrants only. People that have crossed a border ILLEGALLY and are residing ILLEGALLY in another country.

I myself was about to retort earlier in the thread to some Pakistani members here, that isnt Pakistan supposed to be the land for the muslims of south asia when I got some emotions boiling in me.....but then some arrogant Bangladeshis stepped in as well ......so now it seems like a back and forth poop flinging to me....so now I don't feel like taking sides at all and hence my initial comment would be an immature one because I realise Pakistan can only take in such Muslims if they apply through the LEGAL process of emigration/immigration. Just like the Hindus from Pakistan/Bdesh that have settled in India recently (they got their visas extended repeatedly till their citizenship was given etc.)

So here is what I suggest.

1. All three countries, India Pakistan and Bangladesh sit down under SAARC framework (other members are welcome as well) with the intent of solving each country's illegals problem that they finger point at certain other countries.

2. A joint committee is established, the meat of this committee taking advisement from the officers who implemented the LBA between India and Bangladesh with respect to the population transferring especially and establish methodologies to exchange populations in this context (i.e scaling up since we are talking about many more people).

3. This committee also would be given a legal framework to do truth finding and verification....with polygraphs if necessary....since many illegals have acquired genuine and fake govt ID through various means. All countries would have to accept that polygraphs are not 100% accurate but close to it and will be legally acceptable for the intents of strictly this program (the questions can only be related to the suspect's immigration status once the base questions are answered). Dependents and children need not undergo such tests, but they will be subject to the results of the main household breadwinner(s).

4. SAARC committee can then organise a temporary deportation instrument/document that will deal with the remaining formalities and populations can be exchanged.

5. The costs will be settled by mutually agreed terms.

==========

Again this only seeks to target ILLEGAL immigrants. Bengalis that are genuinely part of Pakistan to begin with and are there LEGALLY (citizenship or otherwise) are welcome to stay. This goes for the Bengalis within India that are Indian Bengalis (whatever their religion may be and wherever they are located).

Through this method Bangladesh can also deport the Indian ILLEGAL immigrants that it says are found on its soil (in an attempt to do equal/equal with India's established claim).

Let us discuss this all rationally and without getting drawn up in emotions and crap flinging please.

The only problem may arise because Pakistan has jus soli citizenship right. Is there a framework where an exception to this can be made say for an illegal immigrant who has children born in Pakistan....in the welfare interests of the family staying together? (i.e you must be prepared to revoke the children citizenship OR revoke/deny such citizenship in the first place OR give amnesty for such a situation and give legal status to that family to stay on account of the citizenship of the children if they are given through automatic birth route).

Typical propaganda response from bd nationalists, btw Rohinga and bengali especially syletis are indistinguishable ,their language seems to sound identical ,admittedly cannot understand a word of it. As for the systematic measures to deal with illegal bengali immigration, how about a G3 round
What a knobhead sylheti has nothing in common with rohingya, you know nothing.

I have superb vision 20/10. I cannot differentiate between the two having seen shitloads of both, they are physically the same. And mind the language son.

BD does not need to sit with anybody. We already have well functioning embassy in both India and Pakistan. If you find an illegal Bangladeshis in your country you simply need to contact our embassy and they will verify their identity and issue a pass for them to get back home safely. Its a standard procedure and very simple to follow. We might even train your officials free of cost if warrant such action.

Many have no govt ID from Bangladesh. A polygraph is the best way, unless Bangladesh is willing to accept India's current methods of exposing fictional links:

In Assam, an ongoing effort to detect illegal Bangladeshi migrants | The Indian Express

Thats why in my opinion a polygraph based method should be employed to circumvent the paperwork and expense. But Bangladesh needs to accept the validity of such a test first....hence a country level meeting should be conducted and a treaty signed specifically for this. Same should be done in Pakistan's case.

The current reverse trickle must be turned into a stream till every illegal is out of our country:

Just a drop in the bucket....and mostly these are visa overstayers rather than the millions of illegals who have gained faked ID and are a drain on resources....but Bangladesh has always been very reluctant to recognize this. However with Modi and Hasina rapport, I think this issue has a better chance of being resolved firmly than compared to before.

Lets wait and see.

India works in Indian way, Bangladesh follows modern statehood way.
Everybody has NID in Bangladesh and even if somebody does not have it or cant present one does not mean he looses his rights in Bangladesh. I mentioned in my earlier post to contact our embassy in your country and they will take care of the rest. You just need to provide with the victims name, fathers name, permanent address in Bangladesh. The rest is assured and you will get a proper verification within 30 days. Once the verification is done the victim will be repatriated in proper course.

And which year did NID cards start being issued? Plus when did the ID card become prevalent statistically (and has it actually?)

Do they align up with the period of peak illegal immigrants coming and staying in India (i.e 80s and 90s and early 2000s)?

Therefore polygraph required for efficiency.

Even your silly link states it is a hearsay that planes were turned back. So you did not debunk anything, you just removed any doubt that you are an illiterate imbecile.

I guess you are just grumpy at seeing these Pakistani of Bengali origin doing better in life than you. Jealousy is a ugly thing as you demonstrate so well.

Polygraph ..... Another hindutva turd idea..... Goodluck with finding anyone from GOB from laughing you off the planet.

GOB is in our pocket and will remain so for the forseeable future. Watch and wait, LBA is just tip of the iceberg for the agreements. Teesta agreement and then B'desh illegals are soon to follow in this term of Modi. If you don't like it, tough luck....you are getting these illegals back one way or another.

With due respect, Quartz India has a history of fudging the numbers. For instance, last year they published a report with fake numbers about the remittance sent by Bangladeshis in India: Bangladeshis in India sent back $6.6 billion last year—6% of their homeland’s GDP - Quartz

And these are the actual data on the inward remittance to Bangladesh: Country-Wise Inward Remittances
