Bengali economic migrants in Pakistan

That's not gonna happen.

They got their country, they wanted to separate, and now the illegal ones should be deported back to Bangladesh.

There's plenty of locals who are willing to work the jobs these illegal Bangladeshis are doing.
Absolutely spot on.

What a crap.. If Pakistan was so much of a heaven, those Bengalis would had integrated with the mainstream society by now and nobody woutld be able to make the difference. Nobody likes to stay in shiit hole unless got stuck somehow.

Thanks
And I suppose bangladesh is some sort of Shagrila lol, how could they possibly integrate, they stand out a by a mile besides they are your kinsmen who have illegally arrived in my country. we try to send them back but Shangrila refuses to accept them and at the same time claims we treated their citizens like sub-humans during east Pakistan era, so by that logic you should accept your country men back as they will be victims of intense brutality as you always claim in regard to Pak treatment of bengalis

hahaha good one.
Best line was: "many Pakistanis are actually hoping to settle in Bangladesh, while settling in Dubai is their second option"

But before Pakistanis want to settle in BD, White people have to work as maid in Indian household

Actually, many of these Pakistanis have already settled in here. Most of them are involved in the textile sector. The best part is, they are not the usual poverty stricken folks, they mainly belong to the upper-middle class category with full of capital inflow. I've personally met some of them.

.
They stood with us and Jinnah when he formed Pakistan we were together. Jinnah is ashamed with us and watching everything. Mostly to honor Jinnah and prove to him Pakistan is one i want the Bengal and west Pakistani regions merge again. Even if it requires a Bengali PM and President.

Our policy to migrants is filled by our own hypocrisies. Bengalis shouldn't come because they betrayed us-even though many love Pakistan and despise Mujib Ur Rehman. Muhajirs shouldn't come because they are violent, Kashmiris shouldn't come because they are different from us. Afghans shouldn't come because they don't merge. We were made for oppressed muslims all over the world-funny that we have such an aggressive stand to others-it is often also affected by ethnicity. Pashtuns favor afghan migrants muhajirs muhajir migrants but not others. Pretty hypocritical and shows we are in no hurry to help people like Rohingyas or oppressed Kashmiris.

By treating them alag salag we have made a major mistake-we should have treated them as assets. Particularly muslims left in Lucknow/Hyderabad. I am from there and is my patriotism to Pakistan lacking in anyway?

This is a very arrogant post... Mods.
It is every persons choice where he stays and what country he vouches for. Nurul Amin and MM Alam stood for Pakistan.
Sir if you feel that strongly about it ,why dont you set up a movement for reunification, see how far you get, I lost relatives at the hands of mukti bani. we have long memories

genius they are not settled there, they are using DB's quota to export garments. Why would a poverty stricken go to Bangladesh and for what?
What about some westerners, are they settled there and are they poverty stricken?
they are called investors setting up textile industries there, this is a knows fact many Pakistani textile owners are setting up textile industries in DB

Jinnah said for godsake give up this provincialism so I partly agree with you. But everything is not black and white here. When Jinnah vouched for Pakistan Bengal was a part of it. I don't know how that is relevant or how to explain this in my pov.

I think it would honor Jinnah that Pakistan and Bengal be one again. He made the nation with us together and would be hurt with the break up. I want to honor his memory. Also I don't think that we should support our countries policies unequivocally. Policies are made by man and they will and should be condemned. So our policies were partly to blame for Bengal partition. Till we are reunited we should work together to build an inclusive society with what we have. Peace.
I agree with you that policies are man made and that they aren't always in the interest of the nation, but all this means is that the policy makers are putting their own vested interests before those of the nation as is the case in Pakistan and most democratic governments in the world.

In a democratic political system politicians compete against one another for the seat of power, and in the process of this competition they undermine their political opponents, even if it means they must also undermine the interests of the entire nation in the process of obtaining power.

This is the kind of people a democracy attracts, individuals who will further their own interests at the expense of others for the sake of gaining power.

The policies can be beneficial if they are implemented by the right leaders.

Also, you can't recreate the past. Majority of Bangladeshis would never want to be a part of Pakistan. To them Jinnah means very little, if anything at all.

Those of them who have illegally entered our nation should be deported back to their country. That is their home.

Has there actually been a case where BD has refused to take back a BD citizen? If so can you provide some evidence.

However there are Pakistanis of Bangladeshi decent in Pakistan who opted to remain in Pakistan post 1971.

If there are illegal immigrants in your country then there are established procedures to remove them. I will condemn BD government if they have refused to take back BD citizen. You can not expect us to let in someone you claim to a BD citizen but can not prove him/her to be so.

In so far as Biharis are concerned, they are free to accept BD citizenship and get on with their lives. Many are doing just that whilst others still wish to go to Pakistan. There is nothing much that can be done as far as Bangladesh is concerned. They have been offered full citizenship rights.... It's between them and Pakistanis

Unfortunately the world does not work in that fashion.

Should you ever visit BD you will see there is no such thing as a typical Bangladeshi look.

Would Pakistan accept someone just because they look "Pakistani" - if there is such a thing. They would not.

Illegal immigration happens, if they are a burden to Pakistan I really do not believe BD would object to its citizens being returned home. It happens all the time lets say from UK when illegal BDs are caught. However BD ensures they are citizens before being allowed to return home. Nothing more would be asked in the case of Pakistan either..

But is this a national or local issue in Pakistan? Can you provide some background to contextualise the issue.

If someone immigrates to another place with his full family we call it settlement. I'm not talking about the tycoons who open their subsidiaries and expand their businesses in Bangladesh. I'm referring to the upper-middle class Pakistanis; they don't have large capital but enough to open a small or medium sized garments factory in Bangladesh. There are plenty of them here. And it's not only the textile sector, I also know a Pakistani dentist who has opened a chamber in Dhaka and practicing there. If you ever plan to visit Bangladesh, do knock me and I'll show you around...

What about the stranded Biharis in Bangladesh?

I do not need to visit bangladesh, I have seen enough of them, they all look similar, ie flat nosed, very dark and with clear east asian influence although their are some exceptions ie those that look like tamils or other southern indians.
I have heard from immigration officers that your govenrnment refuses to acknowledge them, kind of how they refuse to acknowledge their rohinga brothers, these illegal cretins who cross our borders always throw away their documents and I have heard even when the identity of these folks is ascertained the bangla government refuses to take them, Hasina hates Pak ,so why dont she take back her precious citizens.
In regard to your final point, the people of sindh are absolutely sick of these folks, why should the cash strapped sindh government cater to these illegals they are a bloody major burden to them ,surely its the job of ugly gremlin hasina to cater to the sons of bangladesh.

What about the stranded Biharis in Bangladesh?
We will do a swap, deport all these bengalis to bangla and we will relieve the bengalis of biharis. sounds fair!

So this just your own personal rant without any material evidence this is an issue in Pakistan. I certainly have never heard of GOB refusing to accept its citizen. You are free to have whatever views you have and I suspect you are angry with Bengalis who settled in Pakistan prior to 1971.

Rohingya are not bangladeshies , they do not speak Bangla, however we are cousins.

The Burmese have been tormenting these poor people for many a decades. We house millions of them in Bangladesh.

Hasina position was the only logical course of action. It prevented the Burmese from ethnic cleansing the Rohingya in their entirety. Did you ever hear of them before Bangladesh closed boarder? You have not because Bangladesh has to its ability housed them.

BD action directly bought the focus on the Rohingya and its in the international eye. Burma is slowly moving to grant them citizenship. You should read up on the background and the issues at stake.

I am sure you would agree protecting your boarders are the responsibility of Pakistan from illegal intrusion, similar to what we did in the Rohingya situation .

If illegal immigration is a systemic issue than there are systemic instruments to tackle it. If you are merely trolling for the heck of it it's also cool but you would do not cover yourself with glory and much less when you align yourself with hindutva turds.
