Bangladesh to observe one-minute blackout on March 25

So it’s okay for Indians to molest you, then? Good for your. Carry on.
Indians will be dealt with in due time. We did more damage to India by keeping having relation than Pakistan could with all those war and military spending.

So you worry about demaginng India but not worry about Indian damaging your country. Where is loyalty? India or Bangladesh?

A pakistani living in america talking shit about other countries being molested?! man you can't make this shit up.

Come again, bozo.

Pakistan do get molested too, you know. Also you are being naive......Thoughtless action only gets you into trouble. We have to be crafty when dealing with India.

Do you even know the different between Bangladeshi and Bengali?

Do some research and then talk about self respect. Kid.

Yeah really need to learn from you who keeps going on about how wonderful it was when BD was being ruled by minority Punjabis during 1947-1971.

Enjoy the frustration at being completely powerless while BD becomes a proud independent nation
that is not in servitude to anyone.

My question to you.

Is pakistan bothering you in 2018 or not?

Keeping relation with Pakistan may or may not needed. It’s a different discussion to have.

What Bd gaining by wasting time on something that happened 40 some years ago.

My advise to you is that Focus on the moment, don’t stuck in the past like an ignorant fool.

They aren't.

No one is wasting anything on them. Pakistanis bring 1971 back more then we do. Last time Hasina talked about Pakistan was like 7-8 months ago. While in this year Pakistani ex Nawaz talked about 1971 and like a month ago thgeir foreign minister brought 1971 again and the war crime trial while claiming BD was sabotaging SAARC.

Past has to be remembered. It is there to take valuable lessons from.

he is a bangladeshi,i think..not sure..
Well, he is from Jamaati Master race. Almost on equal footings with Pakistanis. He is nothing like average Bangladeshis like us.

Keeping the emotion raw on 1971 issue is the political interest of Awami League. but it does not serve any national interest of Bangladesh.Their main target is not the Pakistan but BNP. They always project BNP as pro Pakistan(which is not true, BNP rather has neutral attitude towards Pakistan). As 1971 is their greatest achievement and their political opponent is in good term with Pakistan, So fanning hatred against Pakistan serve them well. It make people more pro Awami League and anti BNP. Notice how they always urge the people to not to give vote the 'anti liberation force'. AL has calculated that if they deteriorate relation with Pakistan, it will not cost Bangladesh anything as Pakistan is a distant country nowhere near Bangladesh. But if Pakistan shared direct border with Bangladesh? Then you would have seen AL's total silence of Pakistani conduct in 1971. Notice how AL is appeasing Myanmar and remaining silent of burmese insult to our sovereignty. Because unlike Pakistan, hostility with myanmar will cost.Their 2nd strategy is to remain in Indian good book by bashing Pakistan and securing political benefit for AL .Here again AL can let go relation with Pakistan for more important bilateral relation.

1971 Pak army brutality is no doubt was a crime and should be condemned. But burning bridge with Pakistan is not a very bright idea. This black out is extreme. Only two three countries in the world has similar type of remembrance. Israel goes standstill for 2 minutes every years to remember the holocaust victims. Same thing is done in Poland to remember the Warsaw uprising. I don't know any other instance. Rather, most of the country which suffered similar atrocity of 1971 or even greater, put behind those memories and forged close relation if geo-political reality demand. Think about Vietnam-US strategic relation now a days. AL may politically benefit from It, but Bangladesh has no benefit. We should rather focus more on how to tackle Indian and burmese pressure on us, rather than squabbling with Pakistan which serves no real purpose for Bangladesh.

True but Pakistan should apologise for 1971.
They are giving ammunition to AL this way.
US apologised to Japan for the Hiroshima bombs.

. . .
160 million population with the fastest growing 100 million+ economy.
BD has already surpassed Pakistan in GDP/Capita from only 50% a decade ago.
Watch BD over the next generation.
Pakistan apologies as a state fully or no BD government will establish full relations.
We also don't want any relations with back stabbers.
