that's what we get in our area...i use the 10 Mbps with FTP, 20Mbps in youtube , FTP blah blah blah for 1000 taka...negotiate a bit it could go down to 800 .

I use genius IT cost me 1000 taka for 2 Mbps ok i will look for SAM

I remember paying BDT 1200 for 512kbps in 2007 The increase in speed and drop in prices in a decade has been crazy! And I still think, it should be even cheaper - infact, broadband should be defined in this country as 2mbps. Let that be the starting point of any internet service

i used to pay 1500 for 128kbps when i was in school..before that anyone remember BOL with our phone line ...checking email and bragging about it in school was a biggy

i first used internet of dial up system of qubee, it is crap that time, still now.
My two relatives uses qubee modem, man just after every 10-15 days, net gets slow and have to call qubee IT ppl.
I told them to discontinue qubee

They are looting you brother.

Built up a subscriber base of 300,000 - it's now around 50,000 and they've dropped their prices drastically to try to hang on to people. Speed and Price aren't too bad now - but their volume limits are still shit, specially when with Broadband - people are getting unlimited data.

For example - My little niece (4 years old) - plays around on her tab all the time. Watching cartoons on youtube for hours and hours. Where would my brother and his family fit in with QUBEE and their stupid packages -

Why would anyone still be with Link3?????? DOT & Mazeda in Dhanmondi provide outstanding service and best of all their FTP servers are massive!!!!

This is the latest update on my FTP server - a simple request on FB and boom. I don't have to bother with T0rrents - they do the downloading for me. I just grab it off the server in a minute and off I go. Plus - they have PLEX - so, that makes watching it on my TV really convenient.

If they wants to stay in business, their packeges should be unlimited regardless of the speed, just like the broadband connections. Otherwise they will be wiped out by mobile & broadband Internet Providers.

in my Country unlimited internet home package with 20 mbps speed came with around 25 US Dollar prices per month (had included TV Cable network). You can get 200 mbps with around 150 US dollar fee permonth unlimited....
