You didn't read all the history, isn't it? We're not hate preachers but if you want proof then just lookup why bengali muslims were not at forefront at promoting the idea of Pakistan; why idea of Pakistan flourished and promoted only on other side; United bengal; Sohrawardi; Abdul Hasim; Qadir - that was their true face - it is all there in history. Is this just your opinion or do you have any credible info which you can share with all of us.
Also i am sure you didn't read my post, as there are no excuses there. I will repeat again my intention is to educate our people of things that we did wrong so we can learn from them and not repeat them.
I can understand your bromance but don't blame west for every thing. What happened was only way forward and was bound to happen anyway. Do you believe that they split because we didn't give them autonomy? It's right that we didn't offer it in due time but we did offer the autonomy but it was too late - by that time they had been dreaming of ruling whole Pakistan and wouldn't settle for autonomy. As general Pakistani it makes me wonder: their history didn't align with us, their leadership and people had tendency to incline towards Hindus than Muslims, they were the people who feel embarrassments in calling them a Muslim country, majority among them were known to be Indian rats, If your uncle was in army he must have also told you that elements of separation started appearing immediately after partition. They didn't care about Hindu-Muslim thing at all, through out the history, their fight was like weak peasant against rich and influential people (whether they were Hindus or Muslims). This always happened before Indo-Pak partition and this is same thing that happened afterwards. How could someone let them hijack the ideology and hand over the control of Pakistan (they didn't even strive for that)?
Talking about army - what their army or government would do? What their dear friends army or governments is doing or did in Kashmir, Khalistan, and in other countless encounters different region? Pakistan's army and government was just trying to protect its people - however, like I mentioned before there was lack on insight on part of our government - they failed to recognize who're their people and who are not until very end, they underestimated the level of insurgency from the beginning - they thought there are a few rats but rest are our own people and in fact they were not. However, grave mistake west Pakistan did was keeping these east Pakistan with Pakistan - I wouldn't go into that but we should not have ruled upon them. Better read history deeply before making any claims.
