Bangladesh Pushes back refugees from Myanmar

Army and Alami Mujahideen. Plenety of land around the boarder. We will get finiancial support from our source, if you know what I am hinting at. Money and other logistic will not be a issue but we have to show some courage regarding this matter.

I am for it but has to be done in a very careful manner. No Bangladeshi should take part in it and conflict should not spill over to our mainland. People roaming around with AK-47 will be a dangerous thing specially in our high growth region like Cox's Bazar and Chittagong.

Besides our Army should move in within short time like within a year of conflict. The conflict should not linger much longer.

I am not sure man. It's freaking risky. The Thais and the Chinese have supported various insurgencies in Burma. Note, Rohingyas weren't the only ones to be persecuted.

I'd say the Thais achieved some level of success due to the cease-fire with the Karens (which was ironically a condition to lift Western sanctions).

But us Muslims aiding other Muslims? It's risky man.

The Burmese have taken back some of the Rohingya refugees. But I fear this conflict can erupt further. Especially considering ASSK's silence for *cough* "understandable" reasons.

Whatever we do, I'd say timing would be a very important factor. And of-course, we do need support from others. Giving the Rohingyas powerful support would be a crucial one.

World media is reporting the other way around.

Arakan police and Lantuin army were withdrawn as they took part in looting/killing along side Rakhaine community. Its your govt version.

The Thais and Chinese stopped funding their insurgencies in the 80's. China completely; Thailand became a very passive supporter i.e. they turned a blind eye when Karen armies retreated into Thailand when under Burmese attack etc. Do you really want your country to be seen as aiding and funding muslim 'freedom fighters'?

Thailand also didn't kick up a stink about accepting refugees and instead concentrated on developing bilateral economic links. Now their investments look likely to pay off handsomely as Myanmar comes in from the cold. *hint*

That depends entirely on your country's response. All you have to do is give them rights as any citizen of Myanmar, and stop making us bear the brunt for your ills. Otherwise, we'll respond in kind.

I'm still waiting for ASSK's response on the matter

And trust me, it's not just going to be 'my country' supporting 'freedom fighters'. We pursue a moderate foreign policy, even toward Myanmar. And it is a very multinational one. And we have the necessary links everywhere in the world.

Your call.

Are you alluding to your Arab friends? With all due respect, they don't seem to give a f*** about the Rohingya.

All the money paid to repatriate Rohingiyas came from Saudi Arabia. Dont give a flying ***** on something you dont know.

And despite all the animosity it will be whole sub continent behind us. China will ask us to get it done quick.. USA will be in BOB watching the fun... Russia is making huge investment in BD. You know your relation with Thais. They openly say $hit about you when their president visited Bangladesh last time. Malaysia and Indonesia will be in our side.. You can go to North Korea or who??? I dont know aman.. Combodia?

Hehe. Have I tapped into your Bengali wet dream? Masses of Rohingya mujahids backed by the islamic brotherhood and cheered on by the international community as they reclaim their glorious homeland against those evil Burmese heathens. They'll be dancing in the streets to Dhaka as the Rohingya caliphate is declared in Arakan. :yahoo:

This islamic jihad bullshit is one of the reasons why Myanmar is so reluctant to settle with the Rohingya. Don't let your fantasies run away with you.

According to your video, those Rohingiyas brought hell upon you in bare hand. Just imagine, a Army providing them with sophisticate weapon system including anti tank and anti aircraft missiles..

Just look at the geography, Arakan is completely separated by mountain from mainland whereas we can push unlimited supplies ..

PS: Why you call darker skinned people Kalar. In your video it seems like you are more darker than Rohingiyas... I am confused. I thought you guys look like our light skinned Chakma community. And yu call yourself Mongol??? hahahahah. Chakmas will be ashamed then.

Really? Since when did they declare Jihad against you? We haven't done anything yet. So far, it was you lot creating all the bullshit in the first place

And if Myanmar is reluctant to take them back for that reason, why did your government accept to take them back? It was officially agreed by your government.

Why open a can of worms again?

Again, it is your call. Not ours

We give the Chakmas full rights. I'm so proud to be a civilized and a principled dark-skinned Bongo. And a Chittagongian :D

Firstly, my little mujahid chum, those guys in the video are Yakhine (Arakanese). Not Bamars. Second, their skin colour is not the issue. Those who are claiming we Burmese are racist about skin colour are talking non-sense.

The Burmese have a pretty simple world view when it comes to 'race'. There are the Burmese and all the ethnicities who are like Burmese. Then there are the Thais (Yodya), the Chinese (Tayoke), the whites (aphyu), the blacks (amé) and then there are all those who are from the subcontinent (kalar). It's not really a racist epithet based on colour. It's analogous to calling someone 'white' for European, or 'black' for an African. Ofcourse it's not something to use in polite company but it's not that severe a word, either.

:blah: yeah, yeah, yeah....

Apparently, kalar is a derogatory term used to describe anyone of Indian decent. Or looks Indian.

By the way, you didn't counter any of my points :azn:

I'm sorry, I like to brag about myself at times :D

Now, where were we again?

I think there are special video chatrooms for that sort of thing, mate.
