Don't forget we operate over 1000 BTR-80s

In fact, we are operating more than 1200 BTR-80. Only recently we bought also 100 units of BTR-82A from Russia. However, many of these amphibious APCs are being used in UN jobs. Bangladesh has also about 800 battle tanks, but, not all are MBTs. Our weak point is air force. But, with the addition of FM-90s, our air defence is now a little stronger.

We are getting stronger every day since after President Gen. Zia initiated a China link to our defense. He was killed, but, all the govts are following his footsteps and BD is becoming stronger in defense. No big brother will bully us any more after 2020.

I think, the 1st priority of BAF is to equip it with short range air defense (SRAD) system. When this is done, BAF will go for a medium range air defense system with 50 km or so range. BAF seems to be already talking about this with China and others.

if thats the truth then thats GOOD!!!!!........we want a good relationship with china........it will benefit us both!!!!!!!.......there is no good if two neighbours i.e nuclear neighbours i.e. future superpowers are hostile!!!!!SO CHEERS!!!!......and through chima we would also look to improve our relations with pakistan!!!!!

If you want a good relationship, then be a goodboy. But, you have occupied Kashmir, you have built dams to make Bd a desert country, you have tried to wrestle with China to get hold of Tibet. the last one backfired in your face. Now you have a million Tibetan refugees, who use Indian land to propagate against China. You are still also occupying NEFA or Arunachal.

Your crimes are multifaceted. You will certainly get the punishment, too. You are already getting punishment for all the crimes above. You are technologically inferior although Indians are supposed to have some matters in their brain. It is so happening because instead of using that brain you are using your money to buy Russian weapons.

So, your brain remains ubused or underused. Now, you are in a pandora's box. The more you invest in weapons purchase, the more you get bogged down into the poverty quagmire. as for kashmir .....that is our land too!!!.....pakistan has no claim over it but for it's high muslim population!!!..we got legal proof(search wikipedia!!!).....but thats also true that kashmiri's want freedom from both india and pakistan....and no negotiations are possible till pakistan contiues to support insurgents there....ceasefire violations from the pakistani side are happening everyday!!!.....they were asked by un to demilitarize kashmir.....they did not comply!!!!.....but they have also give us MFN status....that means relations are improving!!!!!

Can't compare India with China. India likes to buy everything, not us, we make and maintain our own. It's much more economical.

You don't have to be upset over your neighbours not buying weapons from you, there is always a reason. Wait a few decades and you might eventually have something respectable of your own that can be sold at more competitive prices.

we have no problem in spares!!!!.......the problem you guys is that you guys will probably never use it!!!!!!........on the other hand we have a war going on with pk in kashmir and siachen(no a full out 1 dude!!!!....only ceasefire violations!!!)
