সশস্ত্রবাহিনীর সদস্য সংখ্যা দুই লাখ চার হাজার ৫৯৬ জন

আইনমন্ত্রী আনিসুল হক বলেছেন, বর্তমানে সশস্ত্রবাহিনীর মোট সদস্য সংখ্যা দুই লাখ চার হাজার ৫৯৬ জন। এর মধ্যে, এক লাখ ৬২ হাজার ১২৫ জন সেনাবাহিনী। ২৫ হাজার ৮১ জন নৌবাহিনীর এবং ১৭ হাজার ৩৯০ জন বিমান বাহিনীর সদস্য।
আজ বুধবার স্পিকার ড. শিরীন শারমিন চৌধুরী সভাপতিত্বে বাজেট অধিবেশনের বৈঠকে রহিম উল্লাহর (ফেনী-৩ ) প্রশ্নের জবাবে সশস্ত্র বাহিনী বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত মন্ত্রী হিসেবে তিনি এ তথ্য জানান।
আইনমন্ত্রী বলেন, এই তিন বাহিনীতে প্রায় ২১ হাজার বেসামরিক ব্যক্তি কাজ করছেন। এর মধ্যে সেনাবাহিনীতে ১৩ হাজার ৪০৮, নৌবাহিনীতে তিন হাজার ৮০০ এবং বিমান বাহিনীতে তিন হাজার ৬৮৬ জন বেসামরিক ব্যক্তি আছেন।
দিদারুল আলমের (চট্টগ্রাম-৪ ) এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে আনিসুল হক বলেন, বেসামরিক পদে ও কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণ এবং প্রেষণে পদায়নের ক্ষেত্রে সশস্ত্র বাহিনী বিভাগের কোনো সুস্পষ্ট নীতিমালা নেই।
সাবমেরিন ঘাঁটি নির্মাণের জন্য চীনের সঙ্গে সমঝোতা স্মারক স্বাক্ষরিত :
নুরুন্নবী চৌধুরীর (ভোলা-৩) প্রশ্নের জবাবে নৌবাহিনীকে ত্রিমাত্রিক বাহিনী হিসাবে গড়ে তুলতে সরকারের নেওয়া বিভিন্ন পরিকল্পনার কথাও তুলে ধরেন আনিসুল হক। তিনি বলেন, নতুন যুদ্ধ জাহাজ, হেলিকপ্টার, সমুদ্রে টহলের জন্য বিমান এবং সাবমেরিনসহ বিভিন্ন ঘাঁটির কার্যক্রম সুষ্ঠুভাবে পরিচালনার জন্য জনবল বৃদ্ধি ও সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো তৈরির কার্যক্রম প্রক্রিয়াধীন রয়েছে।
আনিসুল হক আরও জানান, সাবমেরিন ঘাঁটি তৈরির জন্য ৩৩৩ একর জমি অধিগ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। সাবমেরিন ঘাঁটি নির্মাণের জন্য চীনের সঙ্গে নৌবাহিনীর একটি সমঝোতা স্মারক স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। এছাড়া মাইন ওয়ারফেয়ারের সক্ষমতা বাড়াতে চারটি মাইন সুইপার এবং প্রশিক্ষণের জন্য একটি জাহাজ তৈরির উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে।
এছাড়া নৌবাহিনীর জন্য দুটি মাল্টিরোল মেরিটাইম হেলিকপ্টার কেনার পরিকল্পনা নেওয়া হয়েছে জানিয়ে তিনি বলেন, খুলনা শিপইয়ার্ডে দুটি বড় আকারের টহল নৌজান তৈরির কাজ চলেছে। দুটি নতুন করভেট তৈরির জন্য ২০১৫ সালের ২৯ সেপ্টেম্বর চীনের সঙ্গে একটি চুক্তি হয়েছে।
নৌবাহিনীর জন্য সমরাস্ত্র তৈরিতে স্বনির্ভরতা অর্জনের লক্ষ্যে দেশে মিসাইল ও আইএফএফ (শত্রু-মিত্র চিহ্নিতকরণের যন্ত্র) তৈরির উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে বলেও জানান আনিসুল হক।

Law Minister Anisul Haque said, currently the total number of members of the armed forces is 204,596 people. Of these, 162,125 in Army , 25,081 Navy and 17,393 Air Force members.
Today, the speaker said on Wednesday. In response to the question of Rahim Ullah (Feni-3) in the budget session presided by Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, he said this information as the acting minister in the Armed Forces Division.
The law minister said about 21 thousand civilians were working in these three forces. Of these, 13,408 in the army, 3,800 in the navy and 3,686 civilians in the air force.
Responding to a question of Deedarul Alam (Chittagong-4), Anisul Huq said there is no clear policy for the Armed Forces Division to participate in civilian posts and activities and for the post of deputation.
Signing Memorandum of Understanding with China to Build Submarine Base:
In response to the question of Nurunnabi Chowdhury (Bhola-3), Anisul Haque also mentioned about various plans taken by the government to build the Navy as a three-dimensional force. He said that the process of developing manpower and organizational structures for the operation of new warships, helicopters, naval vessels and sub-marine operations for smooth navigation of the sea is in the process.
Anisul Haque also said that 333 acres of land was acquired for submarine base construction. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with China for building submarine bases. In addition to the increase of the capacity of the mine warfare, four steps have been taken to create a mine sweeper and a ship for training.
Besides, the plan to buy two multi-colored maritime helicopters for the Navy said that the construction of two big-sized patrol vessels at the Khulna Shipyard is going on. There is an agreement with China on September 29, 2015 to create two new carats.
An initiative has been taken to create missile and IFF (anti-ally detecting equipment) in the country to achieve self-reliance in creating weapons for navy, said Anisul Haque.
