Maybe business is going good for them. Earlier one had to pay $6 to read an article, now its $20,and coincedentally number of "big news" the site published has also risen in this time period. So probably the demand is there for them to increase the prices. After all, this websites target demographics are foreign expats, espcially those in USA,UK or Australia, for whom this amount is, for the lack of a better word, insignificant.

I spend on average $20 on lunch so yeah, not a huge deal.

Dont go for russian products as they are costly to maintain. BD is a small nation so they can go for single engine fighter like Grippen. Its hard to understand the requirement of such a heavy class fighter.

Guys, have you ever heard of our military ever made head lines on its proposed hardware purchases? Indian and Pakistani forces talk bigger than their purchases. Well the Russia wants us to buy the Mig35 and its very true .but we wanted Su 30 Mki or Mkm variants .The Russia asked over price and they never said they will not sell us .The Russia knows we have cash .it ain't Rumour or fake but the price is a fact . Bangladesh can even buy any fighter and the supplier knows we have cash and a future big buyer . none will take a risk to be black listed .The global arms market is pretty competitive you know.If the price is ok then Bangladesh will buy su 30sme or su35 .The mig is already on the dish .

Our defence budget is very low as we maintain low number of personnel. So we have room and cash for high performance modern defence equipment. We can increase our defence budget by a billion a year with ease.
