No. You are wrong.
I will give you a simple example.
For the Navy, we built our own warship locally.
But the main guns are from Italy, AShM from China, radar and torpedo from India, engine from Germany, electro optical sensor from Israel. Naval engineers are gratuated from Russia.
For the Airforce, MiG 29, Su 30, Yak 130 are from Russia, JF 17, K8W from China and most are locally built, Grop G 120TP from Germany, Eurocopter from Europe.
India is providing assistance in maintenane of MiG 29 and Mi 17. Pakistan is to provide assistance to JF 17 for the repair and maintenance.
KS 1B/C MRSAM are from China and many more are locally built, Pechora 2M, Tanguska M1 and Kvdrat M2 are from Russia.
For the Army, M 845P 155 mm from Israel, KH 179 155 mm from Korea, Nora 155 mm from Serbia, SH 1 155 mm from China, 122 mm are locally built. 90 % of IFV/APC are Ukr design and locally built. All infantry weapons are locally designed and built.
These are just few examples.
China is no longer a main arms supplier to Myanmar. We are just diversifying.
We have been under arms embargo from the West for 3 decades.
So what? Nothing. Even if they lift sanction, we can't afford F 16 or F/A 18 with our economy.
So what about BD?
Your country is totally depended on China, from infantry assault rifles to war ships, from the basic trainer PT 6 to F 7, from RPG to SRSAM.
Daddy US just gave you a pair of 40 years old cutters.
Without China, you are just nothing.
Sino-Myn relations is geopolitics, far more beyond military.
Not just China, India and Russia are also close allies of Myn both in terms of military and politics.
Who are your allies? The problem is that no countries trust you.
So. . . better keep stay on thread. Stop BS.
