Balkanization of India is viable but I don't care

Note: Those who read why India's balkanization is viable should also read why I don't care.

I am a civilian. I know nothing about security issues - internal or external. But I am the person on ground and I can vouch for the plethora of inter-community dislike or animosity. Why, I have read that even the cadets of that sacred institution - whose objective is to protect the country - the magnificent NDA, practice provincialism. The senior cadets often befriend and spare the juniors the ragging if they hail from their own state.

This is an incomplete list of who hates/dislikes whom and other subversive elements in India:

* Hindus hate Muslims and vice versa

* Negligible hate between Hindus and Christians but mixing of the rituals of the two religions and Hindu-Christian marriage are a taboo

* In some rural regions of Hindi belt the caste violence is so intense that entire families are wiped out including children

* The numbers of tribals - who serve as cannon fodder in naxalite groups - is high. They are a great destabilizing factor.

* Northies hate Southies and vice versa

* A percentage of Maharashtrians dislike bhaiyyas of UP and Bihar

* A percentage of Maharashtrians dislike/hate Kannadigas

* Kannadigas hate almost everyone else and vice versa

* Tamilians hate almost everyone else

* A percentage of Keralites hate Kannadigas

* Northies find Telugu speaking people (both from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) particularly disgusting and nauseating and have given them jocular names

* Many states in North East - with the exception of Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and nowadays hopefully Assam - hate mainland India

* Mainland Indians don't necessarily hate North East Indians but have a strong dislike and aversion to them and discriminate against them due to their Mongoloid features

* Goans are a special kind of idiots. They brawl with domestic tourists from all over the country but suck up to Whites and allow their nudity.

* Silver lining is nobody hates Sikhs and Sikhs hate nobody. Khalistan is history.

India also has two or three powerful enemies with whom it shares very long borders. But this situation is not an unusual case. In fact everywhere in the world balkanization process is ignited by foreign hand only.

One factor that works against the balkanization of India is the docility of South Indians. For balkanization, probably the entire populace should be of rebellious and perhaps a bit boisterous nature.

Why I don't care about India's fate?

Earlier I would root for singlehanded Indian victory over multiple external and internal enemies like Pakistan, China, USA, naxalites, Bangladesh etc. I would wonder if India is good enough to win and follow this "game". It would take exceptional intellect to prevent a tinderbox like India from inflaming. If one is able to hold India together like the British did, it would be nothing short of a work of a genius.

But I have had a bad experience with a genius. I was disappointed. Ever since, I have a dislike for geniuses. An explanatory paragraph:

I hate geniuses. I hate scientists, mathematicians, chess champions, prodigious engineers, prodigious economists and other technical prodigies. Earlier when I hadn't met one (or thought that I hadn't) I guessed being in the company of a genius would be riveting, thrilling, exciting etc. Like watching 1978 movie ‘Don’, reading the entertaining excerpts of the novel 'One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich' (by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn), listening to great music etc. I had incorrectly thought that their presence is something worth looking forward to in life. But the reality really seems to be different. Now I know the feel of a company of a genius may be no better than workplace banality. I had presumed meeting a genius would be fun. But meeting with genius turned out to be an ordinary experience. It was not much pleasure.

It's very painful. If the best of humankind are boring, then is there anything to look forward to?

Since then, I am past caring. I stopped bothering about whether the establishment pulls the challenging feat off or whether they fail. The moment I think of the actuality of geniuses I instantly lose interest in the games of international politics.

He would speak in local language but it was clear that he thought of locals as inferior.
Who was he even talking to in his local language? Kuch bhi kahaani bana rahe ho aap.
A Maharashtrian boy was residing and joined a college in South India because his father - a central government employee - was posted there. The guy all of 16 was patronizing to everyone in the college, teaching and non-teaching staff and his classmates and would be irregular in attendance. He never said but his behaviour betrayed his racism. He would speak in local language but it was clear that he thought of locals as inferior. The principal once exclaimed to HOD and lecturers (in local Southie language), "Ye koi badey admi jaisa pesh ata hai!"
For every bad example, there will be 100 good examples.

Once a Northie (probably Bihari) bank employee was posted in one of the branches in South. My transaction lasted a short period - roughly half an hour each on three different days. In that he muttered enough times about colleagues and local customers to give a clear picture of his mind. He was in a hurry and waiting to be transferred out of the place.

Accha, what do you smoke??

Thats your reply? EVERYTHING i said about how you speak to delhites like their little black fellow they tolerate (words of RSS organizer editor Tarun Vijay BTW not my words) and way they speak to you in your own lands is 100 percent correct. WHy live in such self deception? you must be a brahmin or person with no self respect.

The ratio is not 1:100. It's bigger. Otherwise it wouldn't have been visible.

Maharashtrians dont act that entitled (generally)other than maybe brahmins who are depise in maharashtra itself. RSS is never thhat popular there interestingly. But north indians do - and India enables and encourages it.

You still didn't answer my previous question.

Again narrow vision with cherry picking some thing that suits your purpose doesn't generalise it.....

You can justify your denial by escaping away calling it "narrow vision". You dont even have the facts to correct me. Your so called parliament which collects your money as taxes does not even speak your language to make its laws.

Why is it so hard for you to desire a future where your voice in your language is heard in your parliament and with your language people as prime miniseters. This is how 90 percent of world live. But instead you worship an entity which neither speaks your language commonly mocks you as kalus (again a person no less than Tarun Vijay said it), portrays you as jokers when you do speak their language (saw mahmood in bollywood films ?). This entity is your mother while your children lead lives of the exploited.

Very Interesting Discussion. Do have a question for experienced folks here. Is balkanization of India in interests of Pakistan ?

Few points come to my mind.

1. Smaller county-states will be able to bring lesser resources to bear against Pakistan, in case of non amicable situation. (Good)
2. Pakistan's neighbors will have no Strategic depth. (Good)
3. Smaller country-states may or may not be friendly to Pakistan. Remember these are same set of folks. Assuming they will be friendly is not good strategic thinking (bad ?)
4. Pakistan would prefer a larger/slower India that is focussed internally rather than strong willed quicker enemies that could react quicker.(bad)
5. Assumption that Pakistan will be able to take advantage during formative time could be miss-placed. Any action initiated by Pakistan will unite India in general. (?)
6. Will Pakistan be able to maintain it's geo-political status in the new future (?)
7. Is there a potential for other countries to leverage same kind of social fissures against integrity of Pakistan? (?)

In India, this is ingrained in people to view cultural and linguistic differences negatively. Until society as a whole does not view differences as positive and enriching, this kind of behavior will remain.

I hope people find interacting with other cultures as a positive experience.

@letsrock

You have got it all wrong. What's that proverb? One example is worth thousand words of explanation. So I will give comparative examples of what it is like and what it is not like.

What it is not like:

India's divisions are not like USA's White-Black problem or the West-Pakistan-East-Pakistan language disagreement. In USA or erstwhile United Pakistan, one side was strong and the other was weak. The strong side oppressed the weak.

What it is like:

Indian model is similar to Soviet Union or Yugoslavia, where all parties were equal but disliked or hated each other.

I would say it is not comparable to both. USSR or Yugoslavia were held together by a strong center. As long as the center held the constituents stayed together. India has been united even when there was weak center. So the situation is different. India is more like Pakistan with different ethnic facets but the bond is internal not external to the individual components.

If our parliament collects money from us, it's none of your problem. And actually that's how all countries work. Take from wealthy give to needy

Second, who said telugu or any language isn't spoken in indian parliament?? Why do you want to showcase your knowledge...

I understand thud is a pakistani forum, but pfff. Absolutely no logic or rationality...

By the way kalu is too generalised...

So you know what Afghanistan people call pakistani as ??? Kala dal.

The racism in india lies exclusively on PDF only

@Indus Pakistan @OsmanAli98

Pakistan's case is very different from Indian. Pakistani people by nature are harmonious, boisterously-comically friendly and very hospitable to guests, albeit corrupt to the core and indisciplined. That makes them accommodating and assimilative. Even in insurgency hit Balochistan, many people are loyal to the state as exemplified by @DESERT FIGHTER and @Irfan Baloch. Is it an accident that the only community where a bit - a tad bit - of hatred is seen, consists of immigrants from India?

Leave aside history. I don't believe in history. That was then. This is now. See how the populace behaved in previous one century and behaves currently.

Telugu is spoken in indian parliament ? only two languages are official for central government - English and Hindi. Anyway i cant teach concept of self dignity and self respect to a grown person like you. Your life is a tragedy and you dont have a concept of how nation works or lives and you cannot even imagine a better life for you and your lingusitic brethren in your own ancestral lands. I can guarentee you that India only means more and more burden on you, your children, your language. Your plight is to live on visas and there is never any joy in the identity of india because somebody like you is not really part of it - you can claim and delude yourself to be part of it. But as Tarun Vijay said you are just blackies who are just tolerated and taxed by India.

Parties are disliked and also unequal. South, maha and bengal for example is overtaxed and under respected. Nort east and kashmir is under taxed but brutually repressed.
