Only very, very low quality cotton is imported from India (short staple cotton full of impurities) which is used to make local ganjee and lungis. For export use, long staple Egyptian and Kazakh cotton is used (as well as Pakistani cotton), even a large amount of US cotton is imported. Bhikharee is - as bhikharee does.
