Gulf states always overpay for military equipment. But these deals are corrupt as they include kickbacks in the form of rebates and consulting contracts for those that make the deal, including the royal family and other members of government.

We DID pay for these Helicopters. The Coalition Support Fund is to reimburse costs borne by Pakistan. Pakistan incurred costs of 912million. Pakistan billed USA. USA repaid, and Pakistan diverted it to purchase the AH-1Zs...

There is a financial cost to Pakistan because of this deal...

A lot of support is out into it with making sure it's flying, to weapons systems and everything in between. I do think Bahrain should upgrade their uh-1n to uh-1y for the 87% commonality with the ah-1z.

Still they are over priced, the weapon and ammuniton of 1 viper cost you 76 million dollar. According to wiki 1 viper unit cost 31 million dollar. So i assume a unit is with spare parts, why paying the double price of a chopper? Pakistan will buy 30 T129 attack chopper for 1.5 billion with ToT, they will make the parts and maintain the chopper. They will use ther own weapons on the chopper. Againg Yankees are milking the gulfies...
