BAF to induct Su-30SME from Russia

Bangladeshis are funny, you guys came up with the news that BD is considering Thunders, then came up with another article saying the plane isn't up to your standards (considering the fact you guys don't know any better than J7s) both reported by BDmilitary.com and now you use your own madeup stories to backup your wrongful claims.
Bangladesh is the last country we would be envious of.. also please take your 4m illegal bengalis seeking refuge in Karachi.
in last 47 years they buy 8 4th generation fighters and since then they are replacing them

BANGLADESH TO BUY NEW FIGHTERS FOR ITS AIR FORCE AND REPLACE MIGS:
6th August 2002
Bangladesh is going to purchase new fighters for its air forces and replace Russian Mig-29 fighters, Prime Minister Khaleda Zia announced in Dhaka. The government was considering purchasing ultra-modern fighters and using them in UN peacekeeping operations, she said. No details of the planned bargain were released.

Khaleda Zia is simultaneously the Defence Minister of Bangladesh.

According to her, the government decided to get rid of its eight Mig-29 fighters because they "rest in inactivity and the state loses money on their maintenance." Two years ago, Russia signed a contract with Bangladesh on supplying to it eight Mig fighters. The contract's worth was 124 million US dollars, each craft worth 11 million. Dhaka paid 36 million for pilot training and spare parts.

@Nilgiri will be hospitalized

From excess laughter at Bangladesh and the fanboy dreams continuing to be crushed...yup.

Enjoy rohingya permanent arrival. More of your illegals are en route back to you....while you discuss finalising some fart upgrade of near-wrecked Mig 29s over some more years.

You're a joke. Whats with the sarcasm?

Pakistanis and Indians have their share of fan boy posts...

What's with your consistent troll posts?

He is being serious.
Language used makes it look
like he is being sarcastic.

Do not please laugh too much, it may cause you a heart stroke. Note another point. When the BAF really inducts a few sq. of +4.5G planes, no doubt you, other Indians, as well as the Pakistanis will be abstaining from the discussion of those purchases out of shame.

So, it is generally good that I have re-started a topic that our BD posters shun because BD is humiliated by the western cousins. So, keep on laughing with all your energy until BAF inducts the planes, the new tarmacs for which are now being built at four points across the country and many new training planes have arrived to train our pilots.

@Imran Khan, @Nilgiri, you guys only see the trees, but not the forest. Hope to see you when BAF has the planes in its arsenal. Do not please abscond at the hearing of a definite news.

Yah mothballed state migs being "upgraded", what can possibly go wrong in a country known to crash 3 new trainers together in mid-air like game of goli.

Its ok, this is the final great achievement after 1000's of pages of getting F-22, gripen, Su-30, F-35, J-10 and whatever else strikes the fancy.

Yes this is the summarized version of BAF acquisition threads. Thanks...you did great job. :D

It’s only a matter of time before more info is out on the type and numbers to be purchased.

Generally, I’m quite pessimistic about things but in looking at the recent trends regarding weapons procurement, there appears to be a shift in buying second hand, older equipment to new build, higher quality gear. I.E. the European AESA radars, helicopters, and Leonardo setting up shop in country.

I think if the economy truely is improving like some state here, its a matter of time before Bangladesh increases it capabilities.

I really dislike Hasina for her apparent pandering to India. But I will say that during the last decade there has been qualitative improvement amongst BD armed forces, namely the BN.

I think a real indicator of the seriousness of BAF will be disclosed when the numbers of the second batch of K-8W are made known.

If it really is for 23 instead of 7, I think that is very encouraging perhaps indicating the need to train more pilots for the upcoming combat planes.

In regards to the 3 trainers crashing. Growing pains. It happens. But very classy once again @Nilgiri for making light of it. How quickly we forget....

It's back in service now, and there was lot of speculation over a supposed real reason for a 10 month refit etc.

Anyways a far cry from an already small air-farce doing this self-inflicted harm because of that same ole low human quality issue that crops up everywhere whenever BD is mentioned:

To be honest, I don't disagree with the article. And the overall website is pretty good.

As for commenting on a whole ethnic group's low human quality, I suggest you take a look in the mirror and think about where you stand.

Unfortunately though we are unable to congratulate you for inducting a low speed and draggy plane for the PAF. It is only a little-modified version of Mig-33 which is just another name of Mig-29.
