Do not please worry about what @Nilgiri says out of his fear and desperation that BAF is nearing a big purchase of 4.5G planes. He is in a mental state of panic.

Yah mothballed state migs being "upgraded", what can possibly go wrong in a country known to crash 3 new trainers together in mid-air like game of goli.

Its ok, this is the final great achievement after 1000's of pages of getting F-22, gripen, Su-30, F-35, J-10 and whatever else strikes the fancy.

Why are India's air force planes falling out of the sky?

The latest incident came earlier this week, when a Russian-made Sukhoi-30 crashed in eastern India - both pilots surviving after ejecting for unspecified reasons

All five crew died in March this year on a training flight in their US-made Hercules transport aircraft.

Just yesterday [Tuesday], a former Indian navy chief lashed out at defence ministry as "so dysfunctional" he couldn't even order "a set of batteries" for his submarines.

Admiral DK Joshi made headlines last year after resigning following a series of submarine accidents that left 18 sailors dead. As it happens, the vessels involved were also Russian-made.

Dude you aware that BD has had Mig-29s since 2001?

3 out of 16 aircraft is not 50%.

BAF has not crashed a single one of the 8 Mig-29s that it got in 2001 and there are no issues with either the K-8Ws or any other planes.

Lessons will be learnt and it may be because the rookie pilots are simply being pushed a little too hard at this stage of training.
BAF really needs enough qualified pilots for when the 4+ generation fighters start coming into service very soon and so they will be making full use of the YAK-130s.

Worry about the abysmal crash rates of Indian aircraft and the other constant mishaps in the Indian Military.

You really do not want me to post the plethora of BD ppl socioeconomic data from the UK for example. For one it shows just how much BD people breed like rabbits compared to the claim from their source country (that cannot similary disguise and manipulate the teenage pregnancy rate and child marriage rate...and thus create a major red flag of dissonance on it). Factor in a large wide set of data compiled about income, poverty, female work participation, fertility rate, welfare dependency, education level, health.....you name it....and yes it is clear there is an inherent macro-inferiority for whatever reason. Its best to accept it and fix it over time rather than squeal and deny it....because BD people are already stagnating in it at already bad levels in say the UK (for poverty etc)....very likely because of this complex they have....of ignoring facts in favour of feelings.

Firstly the pic on the left, 3 pics down is that of either a Fulcrum or a Flanker. BAF bought 8 Fulcrums in total. None have crashed as of this date.

Secondly, several of the pics refer to the same downed plane.

Thirdly, the pic on the right second one from the top. Is that even in Bangladesh? Look at the foliage in the background. Its likely a Cessna 172 and look at the serial number. Its not in BAF service.

So yea....intellectually dishonest.
