I hate to say this but PIA really sucks and until they sort themselves out I nor my family is going to fly PIA.

Not sure why people always talk bad about PIA,I have been travelling regularly to Pakistan through PIA for 3 years now and hardly had a problem, the flight timing is also quote good and you reach Islo early morning after an overnight flight.
Yes there is no inflight entertainment so I just try to sleep.

.
How long did u live in Pakistan for? Were u born there?
I was born in Pakistan but when I was 2 dad got a job abroad so we as a family went ...dad retired almost 5 yrs ago but I was still studying so I came back about 2 yrs ago when I completed.

We had a bad time with PIA almost 8 yrs ago...booked a direct flight to isb...but when we finally got tickets it showed us 2 hrs transit in Karachi. ..we were like ok 2 hr not bad...that 2 hr became almost 8 hrs. The stupid staff were no where to be seen....The lower staff kept telling us xyz ain gay tou batain gay what's the problem just wit few mins...ya we waited 6 hrs on the airport after an overnight flight ...plus jetlagged so I was ready to kill....when the old man finally came he pretended to show concern said plane had problems it is ready now...I was like you should have given us hotel as per normal flying rules...6 hrs delays entitles us to a hotel...you just dragged it...he was like into nashta kerao blaa blaa ...even after that we were 2 more hrs delayed....my parents were worried dad was like...you wanted PIA.... bus never again

Sialkot is believed to be site of ancient Sagala, a city razed by Alexander the Great in 326 BCE, and then made capital of the Indo-Greek kingdom by Menander I in the 2nd century BCE – a time during which the city greatly prospered as a major centre for trade and Buddhist thought.[9] Sialkot continued to be a major political centre, until it was eclipsed by Lahore around the turn of the first millennium.[10] The city rose again in prominence during the British era, and is now one of Pakistan's most important industrial centres.

Bro I always book the direct flight through skyscanner and never had a problem so far even though I travel 3 times a year to Pakistan,I like the flight because it leaves Heathrow late in the evening and arrives in Islamabad early morning,at the same time you can carry 40kg luggage while none of the other airlines allow more than 25 kgs.
