Not exactly new but I don't think it has been posted in this thread. The news is dated 14.06.2012
"A tour of the production workshops envoy held ispolnielny CMH director Igor Giske. He spent Kholmanskikh for assembly shop, which produces the pride of the company - BMP-3. To question officials on the implementation of the state defense order, Giske said GOZ missing for half a year and the company survives on export orders. According to him, the order book is distributed to 2.5 years due to orders to Venezuela, Kuwait, Indonesia, and is ready to sign an order with Azerbaijan."

This news came out before Azerbaijan and IAI signed the $1.6 billion deal in 2012 January. Its possible that the contract included the local manufacturing of Heron-1 in Azerbaijan, although this is only an assumption, but neverthless there was a report on this.

Ten new AW helicopters for Azerbaijan Airlines
AgustaWestland will supply Azerbaijan Airlines with ten new helicopters under a new contract signed recently worth approximately €115 million. The contract includes an order for eight AW139 intermediate twins and a preliminary sales contract for two AW189 medium twin helicopters.
This order marks the entrance of AgustaWestland into Azerbaijan’s helicopter market. Of the ten helicopters, four AW139s and the two AW189s will be used for offshore transport operations; two AW139s for emergency medical services, one AW139 for search and rescue and one AW139 for VIP transport.
Emilio Dalmasso, senior vice president commercial business unit, AgustaWestland, said: ‘We are proud that Azerbaijan Airlines has chosen our products to meet its future rotorcraft requirements. Selecting the best selling AW139 and the new AW189 to cover such a wide range of missions once more testifies large fleet operators’ confidence in the unprecedented combination of capabilities, versatility, high performance and low overall costs offered by our family of new generation helicopters. With this success in Azerbaijan we believe we can secure further opportunities across the region for our products.’
Deliveries are scheduled to start in the second half of 2013.
Israel is intending to increase sale of arms and military equipment to Azerbaijan in 2013, said Director General of the Israeli Defense Ministry Udi Shani, APA reports quoting haaretz.com.

Azerspace/Africasat-1a is prepared for Arianespace’s first Ariane 5 launch in 2013
Pre-launch checkout is now underway in French Guiana with Azerspace/Africasat-1a, which is one of two satellite passengers to be orbited on Arianespace’s first flight in 2013 with its workhorse heavy-lift Ariane 5.
Azerspace/Africasat-1a was designed and built by Orbital Sciences Corporation based on its STAR-2 platform, under contract to the Republic of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies – which is the sole shareholder in the country's national satellite operator, Azercosmos.
Carrying 36 active C- and Ku-band transponders, the spacecraft is to provide communications services to Azerbaijan, Central Asia, Europe and Africa from an orbital location of 46 deg. East. Azerspace/Africasat-1a will weigh approximately 3,250 kg. at liftoff, and has a designed mission life of 15 years.
Joining Azerspace/Africasat-1a on Ariane 5’s upcoming mission will be Amazonas 3, which arrived in French Guiana earlier this month and will be utilized by Spanish satellite communication operator HISPASAT and its Brazilian subsidiary, HISPAMAR Satellites. Outfitted with Ku-, C- and Ka-band transponders, this Space Systems/Loral-built spacecraft will be positioned at the 61 deg. West orbital slot following its deployment by Ariane 5.
Arianespace’s launch with Azerspace/Africasat-1a and Amazonas 3 is planned for February 7 from the Spaceport in French Guiana. It will follow a medium-lift Soyuz flight conducted on February 4 at Baikonur Cosmodrome by the Euro-Russian Starsem affiliate of Arianespace – orbiting the final batch of six satellites for Globalstar’s second-generation constellation.

Bu raketlər hazırda Türkiyə Silahlı Qüvvələrində istifadə olunan analoqları ilə müqayisədə daha təkmildir, - deyə məlumatda bildirilib. Sistemin özəllikləri və sayı barədə əlavə məlumat verilməyib.
Müqavilə çərçivəsində Azərbaycana həmçinin əlavə olaraq ROKETSAN istehsalı olan digər raket sistemləri də çatdırılıb.
Modern sistemlərlə təchiz olunmuş T-300 rəqibin 100 km-dən artıq uzaqlıqdakı kritik hədəflərini məhv etmək üçün hazırlanıb. Hazırda Türkiyə Silahlı Qüvvələrinin silahlanmasında yer alan bu sistem 6x6 və ya 8x8 taktik təkərli nəqliyyat vasitələrinin üzərində yerləşir. Sistemə hər birinin uzunluğu 5 metr olan 4 buraxıcı boru daxildir. Raketlər 6 saniyə intervala buraxılır. T-300 sistemi avtomatik atış-kontrol sistemi ilə təchiz olunub.
Sistemin atəş açdığı 300 mm çaplı raketin ağırlığı 525 kq, döyüş başlığının ağırlığı isə 150 kq təşkil edir.
