Really huge Aselsan 35mm Twin barrel anti-aircraft gun turret will be integrated on FNSS newly developed tracked chassis which has 6 portor wheels, 30 tonnes weight. According to FNSS, The new 30 tonnes IFV chassis will be delivered to Aselsan until the end of this year.

What would a 35 mm bullet small clusters do to an aircraft? bombers like Su-25 which usually fly at low-medium altitudes are well protected against such threats, helicopters like MI-24 is well armored as well, so, I don't know of the effect those clusters have against those hypothetical targets. Great achievement though.

If it explodes at front of the jet, the jet engine will suck all the little clusters in the engine that will cause for a huge damage inside the engine i think..

if you spend money on developing something, it's important it can do the job. example.

You spend money on developing AA gun but it doesn't have the capacity to truly bring down an aircraft, but only slows it down, or it might cause the engine to get damaged. But what if you fail ?

I don't believe that anyone wants to spend money on something that'll slow down the aircraft if they can just shoot it down.
