Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday condemned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's statement warning to disrupt the Republic Day celebrations in the national capital.

BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar condemned Kejrwial's statement saying that the Delhi Chief Minister has demeaned the Republic Day and demanded his apology to the nation.

The BJP leader accused the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party of being in connivance and termed Kejriwal's protest as a conspiracy hatched by the two parties.

Javadekar said Congress and AAP are hand in gloves and the latest protest is an attempt to divert attention from corruption allegations against Congress leaders.

Adamant on his stance, 'anarchist' Delhi CM Kejriwal warned to disrupt the Republic Day celebrations in the capital, as the sit-in staged by the AAP entered second day today.

Threatening to hinder R-Day parade, Kejriwal said that Rajpath on 26th January, will be thronged by lakhs of people, and not the tableau if his demands aren't met.

Attacking Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, Kejriwal said he will not shift to Jantar Mantar as requested by the police and the Centre will have to accept his demand for action against the policemen who had refused to act against the alleged drug and prostitution racket.

How can ANY Indian political party who has sworn to abide by Indian Constitution can threaten to disrupt the celebrations of that very same constitution coming into force 64 years back????

I guess CPIM or Lalu or even Mulayam were better choice for Delhites than AAP.

Sounds like an extreme move if he ever intends to carry out his threat....

Kejriwal did bang up some sense into the head of other politicians. His shunning of VIP culture is great example. But he does not have any respect for the post of CM or the Republic days.
Finallly Kejriwal has also become a politician.

wtf ! ! does he have any idea what he is talking about ? is not it threatening national pride day ?

Why is this guy Arvind Kejriwal going so crazy recently?

Who pissed in his coffee?

His shunning of VIP culture is great example. .

That was a scene man.

Just to show he will travel like Aam Admi he took a metro, and had oath taking in Ram Lila grounds which cost the exchequer three times more than it would have cost had he taken oath at Raj Bhavan.

It takes six times as much as to provide him security than it would have had he accepted the security in the first place.

Sarojini Naidu said - it takes a lot of money to keep Gandhiji in poverty. Similarly it takes a lot of money to maintain the "aam admi" image of Kejri.

I contrast the true Aam Admi chief ministers of India are Manik Sarkar of Tripura and Manohar Parrikar of Goa, They lead extremely simply lives and most importantly dont show it off like Kejri.

Many BJP leaders often use metro/ buses/trains to travel..they have never made it an issue of "high" morality
