Wife says he felt let down by AAP

NEW DELHI: Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's failure to fulfil the promise to do away with traffic challans for autorickshaw drivers had miffed 38-year-old Lali, who attacked the AAP chief on Tuesday, said police. Lali had been challaned a few times recently by the traffic police. His wife Namita claimed that he had been depressed for the last few days.

According to police, Lali, a school dropout, is originally from Bihar but had been staying in Kiradi for the last seven-eight years. He had earlier campaigned for Aam Aadmi Party.

Lali had taken a loan of Rs 500, the receipt for which was found in his pocket, said police. "He had taken a loan for constructing a house last year and often had to borrow money. Lately, he had stopped going to work. I used to force him every day," said Namita. She added that on Tuesday he had left saying he was going to work. It was much later that she found out that he had gone to Kejriwal's rally in Sultanpuri instead.

Lali was seen climbing onto the jeep in which the AAP chief was travelling, garlanding him and then, suddenly hitting him on his face. A supporter who was on the vehicle pushed him following which he was badly beaten up by the other supporters. He was rescued by the police and rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.

One of his neighbours, Santosh Mishra, said Lali was known to be short-tempered. Other residents of Kiradi, who are mostly labourers or auto drivers, said that they were also disheartened with Kejriwal, but Lali had strong views in this regard.

Cops are yet to ascertain if Lali had been hired by a political party or paid money for the job. "We are yet to decide on what action will be taken as no complaint has been received," said a senior police official.

2014 elections are completely different because in this elections AAP is fielding candidates like a national party without having any alliance with regional parties and this means that both regional parties and national parties votes will go to AAP and this would completely change the whole equation and the opinion polls really don't have any base because no one can say how many votes will the regional or the national parties can get.

There is a need of people like Kejriwal to end corruption step by step in a proper way . Someone like Putin would just result in more internal chaos which can be harmful to the nation.

Arvind is an IIT grad, was the IT commissioner....Who is he doing all this for, for himself, to become the PM? He did all he did for the people of the nation, expecting the people to stand up for themselves. Instead the nation is still divided in there fan following of congress, njp, sp, tmc, bsp and other thieves...
We Indians do not deserve leaders like arvind... that's all I have to say....

Arvind should quite and just move to different country, lead a comfortable life... his kind of activism has no value in India....

Kejriwal is already going on the track and with time we can see the results.
