China has more pressing matters than India. The South China Sea dispute is of far greater importance in terms of economics, trade, natural resources etc.

If the Chinese attack India over Tawang, the pacific rim countries will quickly band together to prepare for a Chinese attack in their backyards. (the CCP does NOT want that to happen!)

Allot of Indians think China's policy revolves around India allot more than it really does.

What China wants is India to accept China as the regional power. Until India does so, China will continue to keep India in the dark about its capabilities and intentions and keep India off balance.

India's best response is to quietly build up its defenses (which it is, albeit too slowly for my liking).

if army men start talking about peace then they won't be able to face enemy. It is just a push for government and open the eyes of Indians that the preemptive defense preparation against the chinese is important and any misadventure cannot be ruled out. So be prepared to face China(including Pakistan).

I don't think China will commit any stupidity.

They cannot forcibly take any territory from India, only through dialogue can they take something but they will also have to give something in return. The Chinese are far smarter than the Generals to our west. They won't risk a war with no perceptible gains.

I am deadly sure that CCP is not going to attack India for nothing.

Its clear that Indian side is plotting a war against China. The way publicity of Chinese attack is being done, no matter whether China will attack on India, or, it will be India+West who will plot an attack on Chinese areas, people will think its China only. Dalai Lama is treated as a Lord in India and as Buddhism was originated from India, ………. Im not sure what’s being organised right now………

But yep, month of June/ July would be good for a war on mountains. Here I remember, when India claimed that a Pakistani plane had attacked on India in early December 1971 then it was mainly because Indian war specialists knew that even if China would try to interfere during winter, it would be very hard for them. And now a war with China in summer is being plotted, again a good time, as it will be easy to fight a war on mountains in summer……………… Im not sure what’s going on but its true that West won’t like to see China ruling the world after next 8-9 years from now, when West will have economically collapsed. I don’t think West would like to live with that China who will have more capable aircraft, J20, and submarines/ tanks etc than US+West, just after 7-8 years from now. its clear that US+West want to get something done over China before world may get changed

i personally dont like so much power with one nation..but lets be realistic here.

the US military cannot militarily defeat the PLA in Chinese airspace and littoral waters with currently avaliable resources. They can maybe mobilize half their assets against China within the space of 1 month. We will defeat those half assets with "from J-20 to HQ-9", then they will decide if they want the remaining half to follow.

Time will tell all. Blocking a river does hurt those downstream. Its up to those downstream to come up with a fitting response.

Its easy to think China has all the cards. India has its own. It hasn't played any of them. It doesn't have to yet.

I don't think 7-8 years is realistic. The west isn't collapsing economically, its stagnating (it has a chance to recover). The J20 is still in early stages of testing, its takes time to make a new generation aircraft operational, then you have to build enough of them to give battle, all the while training new pilots, coming up with new strategies, etc.
