Their imagination is even wilder than their hatred, their minds are born out of conspiracy theories which are not even close to reality. Combine that hatred with imagination, and compile their posts, each and everyone of them has written a novel by now using same words and sentences over and over again. Some of the extravagant ideas that I read from their posts are beyond belief, like a novelist creates a character right ? So the novelist knows all about that character and what that character will do next as the novel gets written. They post like they know each and everything about the topic they are cursing and abusing on and about. A new online video of a shabby analysis by an journalist is their bread and butter. They think they are doing a favor or maybe Imran Khan has done a favor to them by giving them the tongue to ask questions, but is this research material questioning backed up by evidence ? No its definitely not. They regurgitate the videos of these scruffy journalists and then come on the forum asking questions with hatred as if they are experts on the subject and their minds are already made up. This mentality gives the same notion of extremism found in our society. These zombies of hatred are actually online extremists who who lost their minds long time back but held onto their tongues for eternity. They usually have no idea about narrative of the topic or any important factor which can be derived to discuss a situation at hand for a fruitful outcome. Jumping into threads with made up minds is never a good approach to discuss a topic and on top of that engaging every thread to throw their peals of animosity like subject matter experts (SMEs), where as SOP to tackle every situation is to dissect it one by one by evidence, discuss all alternate strategies and then generate guidelines how to approach the problem. This is step 1 in the long process of finding a solution to the problem.

Like I said, the birthright citizenship to Afghans born in Pakistan was considered by IK. As for freedom of movement is a long term possibility, should we have mutually beneficial economic prospects. There would be still be border controls, but it would be a two way street, once the two economies are strong enough to support it. Mostly this is related to people living in Pakistan to decades. Pakistan has absorbed assimilated the Mojahirs and their descendants, and in a similar manner many of the children of Afghan refugees probably only see themselves as Pakistani, having no real ties to Afghanistan. Alienating these people that are living in Pakistan leave a great zone in which miscreants could operate and recruit.

But this is getting off topic. These are discussion to have under a government that upholds Pakistan’s long term regional interests, to put to rest any terrorist and ethnic-nationalist designs on Pakistan, that could creep up when we have political instability.

The Pashtuns on our side of the border out number the Pashtuns in Afghanistan and the the loyal Pakistani Pashtuns outnumber the miscreants. Besides, two things will keep regressive mindsets at bay. Economic activity will possibly moderate the afghans and/or allow Pakistan to spend on education to push back against the ideology. And if this doesn’t work, a strong economy will allow the government to spend on police, FC, and Army to deal with miscreants comprehensively.

Pakistan can’t afford to give up on the Afghans and the Pashtun people, besides there are many voices inside their movement trying to fight the Jahilyat, and their society will have to evolve when confronted with the truth.

But once again, back to the topic. These are options/strategies to consider when we have a government that has the mandate, economy and authority to carry out long term planning and implementation.
