Are Pakistanis in the West good Muslims?

I've heard Pakistanis in America generally tend to be quite liberal and some or even quite many are not what you would consider good Muslims, although that's for Allah to decide. Some of the young Pakistanis even in the UK, where they are generally considered much more traditional, drink, sleep around, by some accounts. I've also come across Pakistanis who appear deeply devout Muslims. I would live to hear the views on Pakistanis living in the West regarding this.

By the way, please do not consider this thread in any way trying to patronise, just love to hear views of Pakistanis in the West.

Sorry to butt in, but I met a few pakistanis in Birmingham - in fact met a few Indians, sri lankan and a few bangladeshi as well. It's true that there was camaraderie between them...but all the desis were too uptight and more British then the real British all the while living in pathetic conditions comparable to the blacks..or max a step above blacks(African immigrants). The real British in the meanwhile were more friendly and quite confused in the so called multi culturism and being politically correct both in words and actions. Desis were in fact having a blast at their Expense and making full use of their confused state of mind.

By the way OP, there are no good or bad Muslims, the problem lies with this particular mindset, we as humans are in no position to judge who is a good Muslim or a bad Muslim. The dilemma specially with Muslims have been, that many among us consider them selves to be the most pious or saints, and their dillusion starts giving them the sense to label other Muslims as bad.

I think we all should mind our own business and do what Islam teaches us.

you need to tell the criteria to judge... whether a muslim is good or bad..
