ISLAMABAD: A four-member bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday upheld its earlier decision and retained eagle as election symbol of the All Pakistan Muslim League headed by former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf.
Head of the Pakistan Freedom Party, Sardar Naseer had challenged the ECPs earlier decision of March 19 when an ECP bench had allotted eagle as election symbol to his party in the morning but gave it to the All Pakistan Muslim League in the evening.
Sardar Naseer had challenged the ECP decision in the Lahore High Court; however, the court directed the petitioner to approach the relevant forum, the ECP. Resultantly, the petitioner filed his appeal in the ECP three days back and a four-member bench of the ECP heard the petition on Thursday. The ECP bench upheld its decision of March 19 while rejecting the petition and decided that eagle would continue to remain the election symbol of the All Pakistan Muslim League. staff report

Yea, i don't understand how the ECP is working.....if a person is not eligible, he shouldn't be able to contest from anywhere.
Many participants have been rejected from one area but allowed to fight election from another part of the country. !!

Chitralis owe Musharraf a lot because he built a road there. This is why his nomination papers were accepted in Chitral but not in other places.

yeah . he just got rejected from their too. NA-32 chitral gone. slide going on news channels that he has been rejected from their too and now he is thinking about going to the supreme court in front of the very judge he posed soo much trouble too.
