Yaar when it comes to this Alcohol stuff, I am a total 'ANARI". Zindagi mein shayed 3 ya 4 dafaa haath lagaya hai is "Naimut " ko. Wo bhi "new Year " Parties mein Jawani mein.

Don't Drink, Don't smoke - live a pretty boring life.

The only vice is "Love Female Company" ( that is if you consider it a vice - I don't )

Was he a GD Pilot ?

He was an engineer.

He got barred from piloting due to issue with ear.

At certain altitude he lost hearing and was disqualified from being a pilot.

More thank likely you can just go to PC and buy alcohol without any permit. Be sure to tip the bartender... Don't go for illegal sources, you don't know if its fake and can be dangerous. If you can't get it due to liquor permit restrictions let it go. Koi zindagi maut ka sawal nahi hai.

And yes, since you are a non-drinker, give hidayat to your cousin to follow suit. But don't be a Mullah about it.
