Any source of chilled beer in lahore ? Please share !

these are all whisky....not a single bottle of wine...
that means our assembly member during high concentrations of alcohol ...
no wonder they fail at governance so miserably.

Civilized lot would only go with wine... since they know the true meaning of consuming Wine.

Even here some people give the excuse of Wine being haram in Islam while Vodka and Whisky etc are not... but certainly they're joking.

good to know! PS....just got home from a night of beer and poker......not passed out or in liver failure yet. Can even type after a fashion! (friends birthday.....Mexican beer so I don't know if it counts!)

Our women cover themselves by choice and like it...some are forced..

same as your women like showing off their thighs to random guys and like it...
Most women have to show 70% of their flesh on a Saturday night even in chilling cold.. if they are out to get laid......And then you got the mentally settled relatively covered women..
Different people....different choices...

Lol, OK, Safriz....I will give you that....seen a few women at clubs I figured had to be freezing.

Beer helps with Kidney stones and yeah doctor advises you to drink beer if you have one and can drink one. But then who the hell drink beer/alcohol just for health reasons? There is some thing to life called fun and enjoyment and there is no better fun than to be at bar with friends watching your favorite sports.

Also, with in limits nothing is harmful. It hurts when you exceed the limits.. A drink or two on a weekends doesn't hurt anyone.

Well, of course one who doesnt understand biology at molecular level will speak like you!

Yes dear you did that, check your previous posts there you asked the guy asking for a beer to leave his American ways in America.
My question to you was can you leave your Pakistani culture in Pakistan? That was a simple question you can answer it without going in loops and circles.

Liver damage for drinking a couple of beers. Lol, you are funny.

My question is did I ask for something which is banned or self destructive?

It is wrong.

I said before , all the problems in Pakistan you listed are not due to a tinny minority of people indulging in booze but rather a collective output of 60 years of blunders by everyone .

Even if I accept that , the person will soon depart for U.S hence no need for him to become productive so to help the country or any difference to us if we give him any advice . So , relax ! This isn't a thread for load shedding , health care , corruption or other grievances of the people .

Its heaven ! :)

Prohibition: ‘Don’t issue liquor permits to Christians’

LAHORE: Two Christian men moved the Federal Shariat Court on Saturday against the provision of permits to Christians for selling and consuming alcohol, calling it a stigma on Christianity.

Petitioners Naseem Masih and Aslam Pervaiz Sahotra said that like Muslims, Christians were not allowed to use intoxicants. The view that Christians used liquor as part of religious ceremonies was a blight on Christianity, they said.

The Christian licence holders mostly sold liquor to Muslims but brought a bad name to Christianity, they said. The sale of liquor increases around Islamic festivals, they said, a clear indication that these licence holders supply it to Muslims.

The petitioners submitted that the Prohibition (Enforcement of Hadd) Order IV of 1979 prohibited the manufacturing, possession, sale, export and transport of all kinds of intoxicants, the violation of which would entail punishment. According to Article-4 of the Order, the prohibition would not apply to non-Muslim foreigners or non-Muslim citizens. They could posses a reasonable quantity of intoxicating liquor for the purpose of using it as a part of religious ceremonies, the Order stated.

In view the prohibition order, the Punjab government had introduced the Punjab Prohibition (Enforcement of Hadd) Rules 1979, under which the Excise and Taxation Department’s director general could issue licences to non-Muslims.

The petitioners said that while it appeared that Christians who were issued licences only sold liquor to members of their own community that in fact, was not the case.

The petitioners submitted that according to the Order, licences should only be issued to persons representing an institution, not individuals.

They said all holy books forbid the use of intoxicants. “When holy books do not allow their followers to use liquor, how can one person allow another its use by quoting law?” asked the petitioners.

They said the Excise and Taxation Department was using the order for its own nefarious purposes. It’s policy to issue licences to Christians was not declared illegal and unlawful, the petitioners said, many Christians would suffer irreparable loss and injury.

They said the issuance of licences to individuals not only promoted social degradation but also went against the Holy Bible’s teachings. They prayed the court to declare the provision of Article-17 of the Prohibition (Enforcement of Hadd) Order 4 of 1979 and Rule-12 of the Punjab Prohibition (Enforcement of Hadd) Rules 1979 illegal.

Oh o .. Bad news for lahore .. and why would they spell licenses wrong in an editorial? How hard is it to spell check editorials?
