Rural Rural side is undeveloped and people have orthodox mentality.

OK answer this:

What's the price of Kashmir to Indians, is it really worth $billions of dollars and all that tension. Suppose Pakistani goverment paid India $200bln dollars, would you be prepared to give up Indian Kashmir?

And this is a theoretical question so no trolling please.

The main issue in kashmir is pride and problem that too many lives lost on both sides to now take a step back without being accused of abandoning the martyrs sacrifice for either side.
Plus india sees kashmir as crucial to its credentials as a secular state and pakistan sees it as unfinished business of partition.Neither trusts other to demobilize region at least lest kargil style or siachen.So impasse.
