I don't think India is the one to worry about. Sure, they are nervous about this, but they can accept trade ties between China and Pakistan. I have high hopes for normalization between India and Pakistan and big trade ties. The one to watch is the US. They don't want this. First of all because it benefits China. Second of all because a Pakistan with a growing economy and internal security isn't in their interests either.
Pakistan is sandwiched between two superpowers (one already is, the other is well on it's way) and an energy behemoth. So in theory, Pakistan could have all the prosperit in the world. I hope you can keep it all on a good path.

Not true. If any country puts it's money where it's mouth is, it's China. They have many reasons to do this. And really, even if half of that 45bn is gifted, the other 22 bn can surely be paid back by a growing Pakistani economy. India should welcome this and use it as a reason to enhance ties with Pakistan. Like how China becoming too cozy with Latin America changed the US' attitude and became more accomodating. A little POS land called Kashmir shouldn't be this difficult to fix after so many decades. Remember, it was the UK that purposefully broke up your country along silly borders. And you're both playing in their hands.
