Anurudhati Roy About Modi

"Also being South Indian you don't have much knowledge about our History " eh ? You presumed I was South Indian ? and what is this about South Indians and Brahmins and other ethnicities ? Looks like you need a dosage of vocab like Towel/Turban head , to shake you straight out of your fantasy..

Your history for the last 50 years would be simultaneously boot-licking Arabs and Americans and for the last decade the Chinese LOL

That madrassa tape-recorder dated 1990 you have inside that peanut sized brain of yours is malfunctioning, kid..

That vedic culture you are blabbing about was centred on the Gangetic plain -- present day India in short.

Educate yourself first by going through old forum history and genealogy threads first.

Then tossing the book "Immortals of Meluha" aside , start looking for the Harappa project online, if you can read or comprehend at all ( I have grave doubts )

Finally come up with some valid references so as to Troll with statistics , else you end up looking like an idiot as of now.

Understand kiddo , even trolling is an art which needs to be honed. :D

Stop going down Arundhati Roy's path or even you will be ostracized from educated , intellectual society at large.

Watch and learn boy, watch and learn.

Anything east of Punjab is South Indian genetically and look like same :) Inmortals of Meluha, is this new book written on history of Subcontinent? Harappa online Project? post link and also links of those old threads because i cant find them.

While you already showed how much you know history by saying Vedic culture was of gangetic plain  Basically your last 3 posts shows how much average Indian has been brainwashed by RSS mandir education.

While intellectual like Arundhati Roy is brainwashed sicukular but RSS mandir educated Indians display their intellect everyday on PDF. :omghaha:

I suggest a 6 month or permanent ban on them.

Their is a saying In urdu Kute ki dum kabi sidi nei hotii

So go for the permanent

Gaa gaa gaaa blaa blaa blaa... :blah:
And in this Fascist State Her Holiness Arundhati Roy continues to live without being harmed or killed!
Shame on us fascists :hitwall:

Well india is the biggest demoncrazy =)) SO this gives her the right to freedom of speech =)) where shes telling the truth

I was making a perfectly logical parallel. If you are too touchy about your religious mythology you are indeed unfit for a discussion. And your respect for other's religion and penchant for objective history is noted from your other rants.

Khalsa was founded by Guru Gobind Singh. That's history.

Gimme one post where i criticized anyones religion then you talk its not the discussion its the ignorance when people with no knowledge start making claim about something which dsnt exist, Even they know they are wrong and keep supporting that bunch of crap thats the touchy thing

:laughcry:

IVC, Vedic or Gandhara had 0% to do with 98% Indian population which is austroloid basically. Only vedic brahmins moved east towards India. Heck even tamil Brahmins have lower ASI then local population. Genetically brahmin communites of India will show 2 things.

1: They will have lower ASI component by 10% on average compared to local population.
2: Which proves foreign ancestry and caste system, which was not based on profession.

I have those genetic studies report, you are blatantly giving jholachap opinion.

This happens because religions and faiths influence each other. That does not make Dharmic faiths Indo-Chinese. They originated in India and then went on to influence all those you mentioned. I read about a survey a few years ago that was conducted in major western countries which said that a considerable number of people there believe in reincarnation in at least some form or other. Now will you call Dharmic faiths Indo-Euro-Chinese in origin?

Not necessary. Saints with spiritual power who can access the higher and lower realms are born anywhere .Even some native american tribes had beliefs like reincarnation . I will stick to the point that dharmic faiths are indo-chinese in origin.

Which genetic studies report do you have? Now you will deny that genetic studies clearly proves Vedic aryan caste system was far from based on profession. There was only one región in whole South Asia where it was based on profession, yep thats right in Punjab where it started. The reason for expelled brahmins hatered for people living in land of five rivers is following.

"Aryan caste system and socially mobile Punjabis"

The root cause for this apparent hatred lies in the difference that existed between the social organisation of Harrapan Punjabis and that of Aryans. Aryan social structure was strictly caste-based. The caste system, first mentioned in the ‘Rigveda’ which was composed in Punjab, was never strictly followed by the Punjabi people as was the case in latter days in the Gangetic plains. The Prusha Sukta (Hymn of Man) in Rigveda says: “The Brahmana was his (Purusha’s) mouth; the Rajanya was made out of both his arms. His thighs turned into the Vaishya; from his feet was produced the Shudra”. While one cannot claim that the ancient Punjab had no caste system, but it can be said with certainty that social and occupational mobility was not a taboo.

Prof Malti G Shengde in her book “The Civilized Demons” quotes the impression of a Brahmin who visited the land of five rivers “having become Brahmins ones, a Balhika becomes Ksatriya, then (he became) Vaisya, Sudra and even a barber.

Having become barber, he again became Brahmin and having become a twice-born, he became a Dasa. In the same family one became Brahmin and the rest followed other professions”, and he concluded that ‘Gandh-aras, Madrakas and Balhika are utterly thoughtless’.

It simply demonstrates that in the ancient Punjab man was free to choose his profession other than that of his family, while it was obligatory to follow the profession of the family in the so-called Aryan society that was used to the strict observance of caste rules. For practices such as free occupational choice and social intermingling, the people of Punjab were denigrated and called Mleecha (aliens, people of border land) by those who believed that status and professions of a person were decided by the caste in which he was born. That is why the religion of the ancient Punjabi was declared Nastadharama (destroyed religion). It had certain egalitarian aspects to the dismay of Arya divines. Hate spewing sages have a long and complex history.

Aryan caste system and socially mobile Punjabis - DAWN.COM

That is the reason punjabi brahmin genetic will be similar to other punjabis while same is not the case in rest of Indian population.

The one done by Harvard Medical School and CSIR, Hyderabad.

That report was about how old ANI-ASI admixture is in South Asia and when endogamous caste system was strictly implented. I tough you meant there was new report which says genetically there is no difference between brahmins and local population. :disagree:

Booker got one thing wrong - Arundhati Roy. She has been (or wants to be) in the limelight for all wrong reasons. Her brush with stupidity started with her comments in support of Maoists and now her blabbering on subjects she knows squat about. People like her should go learn and study history before trying to become a champion of subjects they talk about.

She is one more in the pantheon of idiots we have in India.

BTW do you idolize muhammad for his slaughter of the jewish banu qurayza?

As Jessica_L has pointed out, this is completely off-topic. Nevertheless, since you have chosen to reinterpret history for maximal propagandist effect and accuse the Prophet of “slaughter”, it merits a response.

Even an oft-compromised source such as Wikipedia recounts what exactly happened. In summary: the Banu Qurayza sided with the enemies of the Muslims of Madinah (with whom they had a peace treaty) during the Battle of the Trench (Ghazwa al-Khandaq). After the battle had been won by the Muslim side, the Banu Qurayzah were put under siege for their treachery, and they eventually agreed to surrender on condition that one of their own allies should judge their fate. The Prophet ordered them to be handcuffed (not executed) and also agreed to their precondition for surrender. The losing side chose Sa’ad bin Mu’adh from their Arab tribal allies, the Bani Aws, to be the judge. It was Sa’ad, not the Prophet, who delivered the verdict on the basis of the Mosaic law of the forefathers of the Jews themselves (as stated in Deuteronomy, verses 20:10-14) that the male members of the Bany Qurayzah were to be put to death for treachery. Specifically, the verses state the following:

10: When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace.
11: If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you.
12: If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city.
13: When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it.
14: As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies.

This is precisely what happened to the Banu Qurayzah. They were judged in the end by Judaic canon, not Islamic law.

You pointed out an apparent contradiction by claiming that anyone who appreciated any quality of hitler automatically is anti jew. So my question was about the war crimes against jews in the past, like against ban qurayza, do you extend your logic to say that those war criminals who ordered those war crimes, are they idolised by a billion plus people for their war crimes against jews, or is there a more nuansed answer?

Sa’ad bin Mu’adh and the Bani Aws are not idolized by a billion plus people, so your comment stands exposed for what it is – a pathetic attempt at cheap propaganda.

But you must be commended for your twisted logic at conflating the first sentence above with the second. A careful reading demonstrates clearly that the first does not in any way imply the second. But it certainly allows for wonderful propagandist sound-bites such as “war crimes” to be bandied about with impunity, whilst simultaneously promoting the not-too-subtle subliminal message that Islam is inherently, to use the Zionist terminology, “anti-Semitic”. Congratulations – Goebbels himself would have been proud.

I was making a perfectly logical parallel.

Your “logical parallel” is in reality Goebbels-grade propaganda masquerading as intellectually honest discourse. A pretty standard technique with Islamophobes who, after reading a bit of Islamic history, conclude that they are experts, and then waste everyone’s time – including their own – on useless trolling in online forums.

If you are too touchy about your religious mythology you are indeed unfit for a discussion. And your respect for other's religion and penchant for objective history is noted from your other rants.

People in glass houses should not throw stones. Given that this thread was actually not about the Banu Qurayzah, but about Modi (an Indian and/or Hindu supremacist as far as the outside world is concerned, take your pick), your comment quoted in post #6 about “hinduphobes” speaks volumes about religious bias and the touchiness you have for religious mythology too!

So what about your own “respect for other’s religion and penchant for objective history”? Where was all of that when you took the thread completely off-topic and decided to inject the nonsense about “war crimes” above and attributed them falsely to the Prophet?

That report was about how old ANI-ASI admixture is in South Asia and when endogamous caste system was strictly implented. I tough you meant there was new report which says genetically there is no difference between brahmins and local population. :disagree:

It seems you need to read that report properly. :laughcry:

Not necessary. Saints with spiritual power who can access the higher and lower realms are born anywhere .Even some native american tribes had beliefs like reincarnation . I will stick to the point that dharmic faiths are indo-chinese in origin.

Do you even understand the meaning of word 'origin'. Hinduism was founded on Indian soil by Indian sages. Buddha, an Indian founded Buddhism in India, Jainism was founded in India by Indians. Guru Nanak was Indian. Then, how the heck are you saying dharmic faiths have anything to do with China. If they have similar concepts that's because they had been influenced by India. That does not make Dharmic faiths Chinese in origin. Your arguments defy all reason and logic!

Hu Shih, former Ambassador of China to USA: "India conquered and dominated China culturally for 20 centuries without ever having to send a single soldier across her border."

And, even Padmasambhava was Indian!

For F.I.F.A (Fenku Internet Fans Association) any one who disagrees with modi is anti national, terrorists or is not hindu. such is there frustration
