I can't debate on mindset and perception. You can't live under non-muslim majority but are happy to boast Muslim rule of 1000 years on subcontinent (even though you were not the majority but were ruling), implying your argument on majority is baseless....there is a paranoid in us about Hindus....and that is hard to change...accept it.

On self-determination, as I said it is decided by the powerfuls....the states which drive the world order not you and me. Your examples of states (East timur and S Sudan) were not so significant for world powers (their interests were not clashing)....Think about Palestine, Kashmir, Kurdistan, Chechnya, Tibet, Taiwan..... they will not be resolved by self-determination.....we all know it.
